"The Dark Knight" for many stands as the greatest comic book film ever created. Building on the dark and gritty roots of "Batman Begins", TDK expands the world exponentially including Heath Ledger's Oscar winning turn as Joker. Even with other serious comic inspired cinema like "Logan" and "Joker", TDK will for many remain at the top of superhero cinema for years to come.

The amazing sequel to Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, a very recommended watch for any fan of comic book movies, genre films in general, heath ledgers joker still tops any known film joker to date, including joaquin Phoenix's joker. (which is still very,very good by the way) you won't be disappointed with this larger and darker themed sequel.

Movie is good & 4K quality is unmatched I’d recommend it

[Always wanted to do that. Not sure why.] Christian Bale continues making Batman and Bruce Wayne his, and as good as he is and as good as Jack Nicholson's Joker was, Heath Ledger steals the show, and he only gets better with repeated viewings. The magic trick, the jail scene, the chase through the streets of Gotham (Chicago) and the hospital visit are unbeatable entertainment tied together with great characters in a great story. Fantastic!

I think that "The Dark Knight" is one of the greatest Batman films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite Batman films of all-time. I have been a fan of the entire Batman film series and the films of "The Dark Knight" trilogy. I also think that all of these Batman films have a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense and drama including really great and amazing casts, plots and storylines as well.

Listen, I don't own a 4K TV or even any Blu-ray player so I can only use the digital code. I bought it in this format because it might be useful in the long run. I don't really care what format you buy it in, just know you are getting a really quality movie overall. This movie is really how a dark superhero movie should be executed and contains the best supervillain in my opinion.

Best DC movie to date. Likely will never be topped due to Heather Ledger amazing portrayal of the Joker. Everything fell into place and made this one of DC best movies. I only wish the follow up had lived up to the potential (i.e. replaced Bane with the Riddler). Definitely worth seeing in 4K.

I have always been disappointed in the original blu Ray which is why I never bought one of the collector sets. There was way too much sharpening which caused some really ugly anti aliasing. This transfer solves all of that and makes the film feel breaks new again just like the Batman Begins transfer. The aspect ratio does switch so if you don’t let Le that buy it on iTunes Instead.

Absolutely beautiful film. The colors and picture and sound are all top-notch on this 4K disc. I also admire the cover art of Heath Ledger's legendary Joker. I got everything I wanted from this 4K purchase. The IMAX scenes are particularly stunning, especially the car chase scene at night. Great purchase.

One of my favorite movies ever. It's been said time and time again, but Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker is unrivaled by any superhero, ever. The only "negative" I had was Maggie Gyllenahaal replacing Katie Holmes from Batman Begins. Kind of a big negative, but the movie as a whole is so good that I will overlook that to give it a stunning five stars.

This film was bolstered by an exceptional performance by the late Heath Ledger, and it remains one of the greatest films of all time. Just please don't be one of the those that says he was the best Joker because that's not fair to say. Every actor that has played The Joker has done great, even Jared Leto. Each performance is unique. Enough about that. But this now!

I have been waiting a LONG TIME for this one to come to the 4K format, well only 2 years since the format is relatively brand new. Happy to see the Nolan 4K collection come home finally to the format. This movie is one of my all time favorites, but you may be wondering why I only ranked it a 4. Well it does have pristine video complete with the changing IMAX aspect ratio that blows up to the size of your screen (in other words no black bars), but the theatrical audio mix makes the dialogue a tad low here so the spoken words in the center channel needs a bit of a bump up. What else can I say about this movie that hasn’t already been said, no one was ready for this movie and no one can get over it as it’s still talked about so much to this day. The 4K transfer is excellent and well worth the money, the best superhero movie ever made needs to be seen in 4K.

This movie gets most of its backing because of Heath Ledger's dark portrayal of The Joker. Ledger was absolutely masterful in this role. So good that he was able to mask Batman's breathy, lisp throughout the film. I purchased this film in blu ray because this is what I put on to showcase my new LG 65 in 4K OLED television when friends come over, It displays the deepest blacks out there by far.

It is so good and the best Heath Ledgers performance ever and the best joker character in all of Batman that he is in. It is the shame he dead in real life so early and never get to did a possible sequel ever & might have it if he’s still alive!

The Dark Knight is the best movie in the Christopher Nolan directed series of Batman movies. Heath Ledger's harrowing performance as The Joker will be forever remembered as one of the greatest of all time. Definitely worth viewing if you're one of only ten people who haven't seen this movie! There's a reason why this movie came close to being the highest grossing film of all time in 2008!

I'd seen the film when it first came out on video, but of course that was quite some time ago. I knew I'd want to watch it again, so I purchased it, and was amazed at all the great stuff I'd forgotten. Christopher Nolan is a really great director, Gary Oldman is a god, and Heath Ledger owned this movie. So glad I bought it, and will watch it again and again and again.
