One of the best movie series ever! Looks and sounds better in 4k UHD.

I have been waiting a LONG TIME for this one to come to the 4K format, well only 2 years since the format is relatively brand new. Happy to see the Nolan 4K collection come home finally to the format. This movie is one of my all time favorites, but you may be wondering why I only ranked it a 4. Well it does have pristine video complete with the changing IMAX aspect ratio that blows up to the size of your screen (in other words no black bars), but the theatrical audio mix makes the dialogue a tad low here so the spoken words in the center channel needs a bit of a bump up. Had to get this on Black Friday! This movie is AMAZING on 4k. If you have a 4k TV and a 4k player. You NEED this movie!

An amazing movie. Not a second is wasted with any clutter or boring bits. Heath Ledger keeps the movie going on ever scene

One of the best realistic versions of the Batman storyline! Not to mention Heath Ledger's rendition of the Joker was on point.

Phenomenal Transfer! IMAX scenes look great. Only downside no Atmos or DTSX but still worth the upgrade for the entire trilogy.

What else can I say about this movie that hasn’t already been said, no one was ready for this movie and no one can get over it as it’s still talked about so much to this day. The 4K transfer is excellent and well worth the money, the best superhero movie ever made needs to be seen in 4K.

This is leaps and bounds better than the blu-ray. The color is what I remember seeing in the theater, and the artificial edge enhancement is gone. Gorgeous 4k remaster, even on a 1080p, SDR screen. Thought be warned, the blu-ray included is the old transfer. The new transfer is only on the 4k UHD disc, so you must own a UHD player to watch the remaster.

For it's age, you would never be able to tell its over 10 years old. This movie looks and sounds like something that was made this year. Hats off to Nolan for preserving the highest quality in sound and film production to make this movie hold up 10 year later. Audibly and visually brilliant and an even better story to go along with it.

4k upgrade is worth it. Though the film has some glaring plot holes, Heath Ledger's performance and the visual make this a classic

I have almost every release of this film, it’s my all time favorite so it’s a automatic purchase for myself.

The transfer on this disc is absolutely fantastic greatly improving on the earlier Blu ray release. The new audio mix is top notch and will give your speakers a workout. Dark Knight is likely the strongest entry in the trilogy and shines in 4K. Pick this one up today.
