Best Batman Film
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This film is one of Christopher Nolan's best works after Inception. Great visual effects, plot, soundtrack. The 4k transfer is great and will hold up for years to come.

Must have, especially for the full screen IMAX sce
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved this 4K version. Like other Nolan 4K releases, this one includes shifting aspect ratios for certain scenes. The chase sequence with Joker and his gang attempting to blow up the Batmobile looks and sounds breathtaking thanks to the full screen IMAX ratio and the awesome audio support.

Fantastic movie
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my favorite Batman movie of all time. The only thing that would have made this movie better is if Katie Holmes was still Rachel. She was actually attractive and a good actor. Even with Rachel's character looking like a man beast, this is still the best Batman movie ever!

A great movie to start you 4K collection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another staple in any 4k collection. The Dark Knight, with Heath Ledger's iteration of the Joker, is a pleasure to watch in 4K. The amount of detail really shines here and this should be a part of everyone's 4K collection as it really shows what a 4K television is capable of.

Fantastic 4k
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is generally considered the best movie in the Dark Knight Trilogy. Is it worth getting the 4K over the Blu-Ray? yes it is! I dont see this movie looking any better!

Excellent film
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Batman film is by far my favorite of of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy. Heath ledger award winning performance as the Joker is the most memorable one and and the great screenplay by Christian Bale as the Batman! Also bought the Steelbook which is totally worth it!

The best the Bat has looked
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was how I remembered seeing this film in the theater, aspect ratio changes and all. The picture here is amazing especially the IMAX filmed scenes. The sound feels crisp and balanced with tons of sub frequencies where they are needed. The sound is not reformatted to Dolby Atmos, but instead is kept to the original 5.1 which I feel is honoring the original and makes this seem like a reference quality archival of the film. I’m a huge fan of Atmos sound but I’m happy they played it safe over getting it wrong .

Best version of movie so far
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good movie, but that is subjective. Technically the picture is solid. If you are a fan of the Nolan Batman movies, it is worth the upgrade from standard Blu-ray. The picture is clearer with more noticeable details. The imax scenes are amazingly clear and vibrant. The soundtrack is not atmos. It is the same DTS as in the Blu-ray but it is a strong mix nevertheless. For casual viewers or those who have smaller TV’s (less than 50 inches) or sit back far from the TV, the recommendation to upgrade is less.

A must-own 4k title!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The video and audio on this 4k disc are astounding. If you don't already have this, you need to see this film in HDR!

DTS HD MA at its best
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review on the 4k video and audio quality, I found the video quality to be good not great. It's a dark movie with good contrasts and good blacks but felt black levels should have been a bit more inky. But the audio quality is the shine of this 4k. No Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, but the DTS HD MA is outstanding! Neural X processing which is enabled on this disc creates a soundstage which is as big as Atmos or DTS:X. The movie is loud and the score is thunderous and wide. Best sounding DTSHDMA that i've heard so far.

The villain always steals the show
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A dark, gritty comic book movie classic. When it comes to a comic book, it always seems like the villain steals the show. Heath Ledger puts in a fine performance. Not only a classic super hero move, but truly a fine crime Deana as well. Get it!

Debatably the greatest superhero film ever
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This greatest of the Nolan Batman trilogy, this movie goes deep and delivers in a powerful way on so many levels. You’ll have a tough time finding a better superhero movie, ever. Ledger also delivers some of his greatest work. And it’s 4K!!

Now this.. is a beautiful movie!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best if not the best 4K quality movie I've ever seen. First of all, all the IMAX scenes you get the full detail and full picture. None of those black bars. Second, the quality of this is beyond that of the Blu Ray version. The Hong Kong scenes were off the charts, and the night dark scenes were crisp and great with no washed out. Of course it helps to watch this movie with an OLED TV which I have. The only problem I had was, it doesn't have Dolby Atmos surround sound. Just DTS 5.1. The HDR was great on this movie as well!

Best of the Trilogy.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best out of the Nolan Batman trilogy. And that is mostly down to the brilliant performances by Heath Ledger and Morgan Freeman. Heath does such a brilliant job. He really took this character into a new dimension. A shame he never got to see the impact of his work. The movie on 4k UHD is a sight to behold. Clarity and color cannot be beat. It just keeps you mesmerized the entire time. If you are a a fan, this is the best the movie has ever looked. Pick it up now!

Best Sound Editing & Best Supporting Actor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though I do not think it was supposed to, my purchase did not come with a digital copy. (I also purchased Batman Begins which did come with one.) The greenish blue tint from the old Blu-ray is gone. IMAX shots look sharper also. This is film 2 of 3 in the Nolan Batman series. [Side note: I was a bit thrown off guard initially when seeing the role of Rachel Dawes turned over to Maggie Gyllenhaal after Katie Holmes.]

The Dark Knight
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Christopher Nolan's masterpiece The Dark Knight comes to 4K with an image sourced from a new 4K scan that has been color-corrected and HDR graded under the director's supervision. Details, saturation and shadow definition all get a boost and the IMAX footage is still breathtaking. The lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, while not Dolby Atmos, is quite superb. Comes with blu-ray disc and digital code. This is, hands down, the best comic book adaption ever filmed.
