This movie when I seen it in theaters blew me away! I had to pick it up the day it came out. RIP Heath Ledger, his role in this movie is the best I have ever seen! The Joker is what made this movie, Aaron Eckhart "two face" does a very good job also he is one very underrated actor. I would say get this movie if you ever want a thrilling movie with a great plot! Just an awesome story, and a great cast. Thumbs up to Christopher Nolan also.

This is one of the best movies ever and is a must have for anyone who has a Blu Ray player. I pre-ordered this on Bestbuy.com and got it the Monday before it came out, can't complain about that. My friends are all jealous because I got it before they could. The free digital copy is an awesome extra if you don't want to go and buy the basic dvd version. There are certain movies you wouldn't need to own in Blu Ray and this is not it, buy it on Blu Ray

Christopher Nolan has created a sequel that I must keep up with. The Dark Knight's story, acting, and quality is near perfect. If you want the ultimate viewing experience then you must watch this blu-ray at night, on a big screen (preferably LED), with the 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound turned up. This image quality and background music was made for it.

The Dark Knight is a great movie. There is a reason this movie is now number two on the all time gross list. The Joker and Two-Face are some of the greatest villians in comic book history. Everyone had heard how Heath Ledger did a wonderful Joker and they are all right. When I first heard he was doing it I had my questions but now I know that I was so wrong. Great movie pick it up. Bale is still great as Batman/ Bruce Wayne. Nolan is a great director and I can not wait to see what they have in store for the next one if any of the rumors are true.

The Dark Knight was mega-hyped to be the best movie ever created, and, believe it or not, it proves correct. I seen this movie with expectations of mediocrity and a tired old story, however, I could not have been more wrong. I love Christian Bale's acting. I was under the impression that he would outshine the movie itself. Again, I was wrong. He dons the Batman mask with the utmost conviction, however, it was Heath Ledger's role as the Joker that truly steals the show. The Dark Knight is a re-creation of a classic, and a must see.

First of all, if you enjoyed The Dark Knight in theaters, this Blu-Ray version of the movie will definitely disappoint (this is all pending a nice 1080p HDTV and BD player - all which is needed for a fantastic experience). The detail and presentation of the movie is so crisp and sharp, I would say that it was a good transfer translation from film to Blu-Ray disc. The one GRIPE I have of the Blu-Ray version of The Dark Knight is this: the aspect ratio CHANGES from letterbox to full screen HD throughout the movie. It's probably the most talked about gripe of this Blu-Ray version I've ever read about. The regular DVD version of this movie has consistent aspect ratio while the Blu-Ray version "flip flops" from letterbox to full screen. It's annoying but not enough to make me not want to buy this for my home entertainment system. Definitely a must-have for Blu-Ray enthusiasts!

The Dark Knight was a very good movie. I am not a huge batman fan or anything and did not know what to expect with watching this movie. When it came out on blu-ray I decided to get it and it was amazing. The acting and the plot of the movie were so creative and interesting that you did not have to be a fan of batman to be into this movie. The movie overall was much more exciting than I expected. It also sounded really good with my home theater system which made the movie even more exciting.

Great, great movie with an awesome cast. Without a doubt, Christian Bale is a very good Batman, yet, Heath Ledger gives a run for his money as the 'show-stealer'. I was skeptical of Ledger's ability to play a villain before I watched the movie. But I have to say, I was very impressed. He plays a twisted villain as well as any. Don't expect the humorous type of villain that Jack Nicholson presented as the previous Joker, but rather enjoy the chaos that this villain brings to the table.

This movie holds some special meaning to me for several reasons. It was filmed in Chicago (where I used to live) and I was able to witness alot of the filming and even got to be an extra! Also I was able to meet Heath Ledger in his last days. Overall this movie is fantastic! I highly recommend to anyone who loves action filled movies and is a comic book geek. (at heart or in general) The cast is perfect! The direction is perfect! Everything about it is worth every cent

This was my proudest buy for Christmas last year. The movie is fantastic, the acting was phenomenal, and this CE turned out to be a great addition to my Bat-nerds collection. Although the Blu-Ray disc holder is literally part of the figurine display, if you return it to the plastic box you bought it in, you can slide it into a square place. I think I'll have a difficult time topping this one ... he's getting gloves and a hat this year.

Batman Begins was a huge hit with the new Batman. it has created a new image for Batman. In "The Dark Knight" Batman has created a wave of enthusiasm through america with Michael Caine perfected the role of Alfred and Heath Ledger as the joker and have brought new images to their characters. If some one is to say "Alfred" i immediately think Michael Caine. the unfortunate death of Heath ledger is awful for his life and the perfected joker.

I enjoyed mostly all parts of this film. Ledger plays "The Joker" as the villian from the older and darker Batman comics. A huge plus is the action and cinematography was all real except one in particular vital thing. The amazing things done in this film reflect the fact that computer generated images aren't needed for great action scenes and realistic character images. If you can appreciate good filmmaking than this is the film for you.

Great superhero action flick. A far cut above most shoot-em-ups in writing, acting, story, character, theme and camerawork. Great action set-pieces along with solid dialogue-driven moments. More complicated intellectually and emotionally than most comic book fare. If you're looking for your typical "good vs. evil" flick, you may not have the patience for this one. Also Batman's voice is annoying. Aside from that, great flick.

I love this movie! Although long, it is one of my favorite movies. I just bought a Blu Ray player and decided to buy the Blu Ray version of this movie. I think it was a waste of money! The Blu Ray player enhances older dvd's to look crisper and brighter. Ive watched other movies on my player and seen no difference in the two. I advise to not waste your $10-$20 extra just cuz it says Blu Ray on it. But do buy this movie!

This is the best Batman movie by far! No offense to Jack Nicholson, but Heath Ledger's got you beat. He gave hie life for this role and will always be remembered for that. Christian Bale is the best Batman, and best actor! If you haven't seen it yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Don't rent it, BUY IT!!! You'll want to see it over and over and over and over... And if you haven't seen Batman Begins, you're missing out!

This is one, if not the best movie I have ever seen. The whole storyline is great and Heath Ledger does an amazing job as the joker. No one will ever play that part like Heath Ledger. There is not a dull moment in this movie and the action is great as usual. If you have a blu-ray player than this is a must have in your collection.

this is unique movie for a comic book movie, but also in cinema history, but the story design to not only entertainment you, but to put in the situation. What would you do? How would you feel? etc. the script and story had an element that alot of movies have not touched yet, and this is why people went to go see it more then once.

I love this movie especially for the background music that keeps me at the edge from the beginning till the end. People always like a movie for a Hero but this one, oh man, I love the villain, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale was no less. Precisely, this is one heck of a movie to own especially in Blu-Ray.

this is the best batman movie ever made. The actors really get ito their roles and make everything run jst so amazingly smooth. and ledger just topped it off with his amazing joker character. he should still get performer of the year, even tho its not possible. :(
