I picked up the blu-ray and the standard dvd version,the blu-ray version comes with a digital copy you can transfer to your pc and Itunes. I believe some of the movie is in an IMAX format because I've never seen a movie fill the screen like this one.The colors are vibrant...basically mind blowing.......best superhero movie ever...I think Christopher Reeve's Superman has been dethroned!

A movie that thousands watched in theatres in its 2009 release, Director Christopher Nolan takes a comic book character and translates it into a hard-edged crime drama that has Batman battling the mob until a maniac called Joker sets to burn Gotham under. Dark, smart, bold and action packed- Heath Ledger's Joker owned this movie, but in all a smart action film.

The Dark Knight may not only be one of the best super-hero movies of all time but one of the best movies ever. Of the entire 153 minutes there is none stop action and drama. Christian Bale is excellent as Batman and Heath Ledger is incredible as The Joker. Ledger may have played the best villian ever.

this movie is definately one of the best superhero movies of all time, if not the best. u get goosebumps any time ledger's joker comes on the screen, and unlike the past batman films, this one is not stupid and corny like the cartoon- like movies made in the 90s. definately a must see

At first I was thinking this movie would be boring like batman begins. Wow was I wrong. This movie was fantastic. Everything about it from the story to the actors was just great. Heath Ledger showed that he can perform just about any role. Great performance from him and Christian Bale. I would definetely recommend this movie to anyone

My family loves this movie and we were so happy to find it on blu ray and on sale no less! We have not checked out the special features yet, we tend to not really care about those as much as how good the movie shows up and the picture on this is SO clear!

All i have to say is BATMAN, who doesnt love BATMAN. This movie showed a darkerside into the life of the capped crusader, and the sacrafices he has to make. They put a different spin and vibe on this Movie that made it better than all the others. Heath Ledger, R.I.P is the greatest actor of all time for his role in this movie.

Batman is back and is facing his all time nemesis, the Joker, played by Heath Ledger, who gave a perfect performance. The Dark Knight is a great movie that is action packed the whole way through. A must have for two reasons: first of all it’s an amazing movie, and second it’s Heath’s last film. December 9th can’t come quick enough.

Dark Knight is the best movie I have ever seen! I saw it four times in theaters, I just couldn't stop watching it....Heath ledger's performance was brilliant and definately oscar worthy! Everyone in the movie was great.... This is definately a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish! I loved it!

The best of all the Batman movies made, this DVD is worth having for so many reasons - graphics, stellar acting, plot, action stunts, etc. My only note of caution... if you're big on lots of DVD Extras, this disc isn't the one for you - get the special edition with all the extras, cause this one doesn't have any.

Great Movie...in Blu-Ray on my 55" Samsung it makes me feel like I'm at my own personal theatre!

Keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the movie. Great story to it from start to finish. Lots of action. The villians are great in this film. With all the explosive scenes you and your family will love it. Special effects are great. The joker makes you hold on to your seats when watching this film.

I initially saw this movie in theaters. I, along with friends, went to the midnight viewing. I was so blown away, that the next weekend I attended an IMAX viewing of the film. I purchased this film as the 2-Disc DVD before I ever had a Blu-ray player. I now own it on both DVD and Blu-ray!

This movie captures the true felling of The comic Books ..... Ledger´s acting as the Joker will be remembered forever and the Atmosphere surrounding the whole movie works in such ways that you really do start to feel unsecure and frightened by the Evil mastermind of the Joker .....Instant Classic

This is seriously the best movie in history. It's the best hero Vs Vilian. A must have for any action fan. I can imagine the blu ray will be amazing and can't wait to own this piece of history. I went to the theather to see it more than once and now i can't wait for the blu ray to hit the shelves.

This is a good movie with some really good scenes and acting however there are some scenes that are not lit right and hard to see also for me it dragged in some places and at times batmans voice got on my nerves like nails on a chalk board i mean seriously who the hell talks in a loud wisper like that ??? also it didn't keep my interest as well as the first one did. still this is a good movie that looks great on blu-ray and morgan freeman is in it and he's always great... i wonder who the next batman will be ? hopefully someone who doesn't speak like someone is standing on their throat.....

I got this for the 2 disk and the joker cover. the 2 disc is awsome, there are many things to watch on it. but there are no deleted scenes. there are new clips of GNN "Gotham News Network" that was talking about before the movie.

The Dark Knight has to be the best action movie thus far. The plot twists leave you guessing until the very end - simply brilliant! No one but Heath Ledger could have played the Joker any better. This film does not deserve anything less than five stars. In fact, I'd give it a gold star.

omg i saw this movie on opening day and i LOVED it!!! it is still my favorite movie and i am sooo excited to own it on dvd! there wasnt a second of this movie that wasnt good and it was heath ledgers last movie which made it even better. whoever hasnt seen this movie is really missing out!

Heath Ledger went out with a bang in this movie! He did a fantastic job acting crazy. Sometimes, I couldn't even tell it was him. The flow of the movie keeps you watching and the action sequences are mind-blowing. This movie is a big peice of pop culture to have for your collection.
