Really great movie, who does not like Matthew Mcconaughey. He is a great actor. Stephen King did a great job with this story and the movie adaptation is also excellent. I highly recommend this movie.

After seeing reviews of this movie I wasn't sure I should see it. The reviews I had read were not good. However, I chose to give the movie a chance and I was very happy with it. I've even read the first two books of The Dark Tower series and I'm about to start the third.

I liked it I haven’t read any of the books or seen the old movie but I thought this was a fun ride and wasn’t as complex as I thought it would be.

It's definitely not the best movie to come out in the past year, but if you're looking for a movie with some creativity and excellent acting, this is pretty darn good! I enjoyed it, but you just have to be prepared to not have a lot explained to you or a lot of heavy plot.

Movie starts out a little slow....but hang with it! Becomes fascinating and keeps your attention until the end!

I love Stephen King and the steelbook is awesome. No regrets.

HDR looks great. Movie comes in Dolby vision but don’t have Dolby vision player. Reason for 4 stars is wish there was more gun fighting scenes.

I enjoyed the movie even though it did not match the epic adventure of the books. That would have required a series of movies at least. Oh well.

Liked it more the second time I watched it . Listened more to the dialogue , first time I watched more than I listened

Always like futuristic movies with a twist of the past. Main gunslinger actir is becoming one of my new fav. actors. Another good vs. evil plot.

it shows a sense of respect to fathers that their son can remember what was taught to them. and in time of need that lesson help him in the time of need. and as many fathers he became a teacher to someone else son and taught him what was taught to him by his father.

I read that people didn't really like this movie. But I had fun with it, its cliche but it has great visuals and some neat action sequences.

Trying to condense King's epic multi-novel, dimensional traveling, epic, adventure, masterpiece into one film that fully encapsulates its breadth and quality is impossible. So, fans of the novels expecting that will be disappointed; however, if one goes in more objectively and views it with reasonable expectations, he will probably feel it's pretty entertaining. besides, king will green light anything. The film can't hurt the books.

Movie is ok could had been better but the steelbook is nice

A good sci fi movie with a sense of a history that never was in a world among many other worlds.

Watching any movie in 4K makes it fun to watch. This movie was ok. It’s true what is said most of the time the book is better than the movie.

A Steven King adaptation. Had to see it again. Fell asleep, in theaters. Some parts, good character good vs evil. Steelbook art work is cool.

It was an interesting movie, hero and villain with a young savior who helps to get the hero back on track and grows into a hero himself.

Definitely one of the best family movies to watch during the weekend or down time. Really good movie
