The Dark Tower was an interesting movie I enjoyed it special effects was nice some people may not like it but I would recommend it

This is a good fantasy movie based on a set of novels by Stephan King (which I had not read). The story line wasn't as engrossing as I had hoped. Special effects were good, if you like to watch people performing impossible tasks. Matthew McConaughey was particularly good in his role of the man in black. He played evil deliciously. I'm glad that I bought it and was entertained watching it, but I was hoping for more.

It was a little slow at times so that's why I have it 4 stars. My hubby says I need to read the books so that's on my to do list.

The movie is no way as good as the book, as is most times the case. The steelbook and it’s artwork are very nice though.

If you're a fan of the series you will understand why this movie doesnt follow the gunslinger. There are other worlds than these!

It was a good movie, but it strayed from the books. Idris Elba was really good, and really the cast as a whole was fantastic.

A better movie then expected and worth a view. Good picture and audio for viewing this action. A few twists that you may enjoy.

This is a good movie. It can be enjoyed by all ages, as it was filled with action as well, so not just for a younger audience.

This is a decent movie, not the best book to movie adaptation but worth a watch. I am not sure if they are going to finish the trilogy so you might even want to wait until/if the next two movies come out if you, like me, do not like to watch a movie with an incomplete stories. The movie wraps up decently but leaves plenty of threads left to continue the story. Overall the movie is worth a watch.

It's good to see another Stephen King movie done with good taste. Not to many are bad, but the good ones are great.

I have always liked Matthew McConaughey as an actor and Stephen King is my favorite author, so this was a win win in my book.

I have never read the book, so I couldn't do a comparison of the two. But I did enjoy the movie.

I am writing this largely based on the picture quality. It's got top-notch 4k HDR; absolutely gorgeous. I didn't find the movie to be amazing, but certainly not bad either. I don't get all the hate and am happy to add this to my collection.

This movie started out hard to follow at first but then it started explaining it self a tired out to be prettu good.

Really didn't have much expectation going in but was pleasantly surprised. Worth a second viewing so bought for the kiddos.

This movie was awesome. Matthew mcconaughey plays an epic death-like villain. At the very least, watch for that and visuals.
