I liked the movie. I just wish the broke it up with three movies. It felt rushed.

They tried to squeeze a 7 book epic into 90 minutes. Seems like if they wanted to start a franchise they would have just told part of the story and left room for sequels. Instead they took parts that were loosely based on the first and last books and shoehorned them into a mish-mosh of a story. Is it a good movie anyway, I mean if you didn't know the books existed? No, not really. Without that context it wouldn't make any sense at all. It has some ok moments but overall pretty bad and unsatisfying.

A great shootem up you want to see more than once. An overdose of nonstop action.

This is a great movie to add to my collection of adventure movies from the future
