This is one of the better 4K movies, The colors and shadow details are excellent.

I can understand why this film will be hated. It's an EXTREMELY chopped up and trimmed down version of Stephen King's magnum opus. If I had read the books this would probably be a much more negative review. However you go in without having read the books and with the expectation that you're not seeing something on par with Lord Of The Rings.....more like Last Action Hero......you'll have a great time with it. Expectation will be the make or break for how well someone experiences a film like this. And technically speaking this is one of the most impressive 4K blurays you can buy right now. Not only was the film shot in 4K but it was mastered in 4K as well; a rarity in 4K blurays. The only parts that are less than 4K are the visual effects which are mastered in 2K but that's extremely common anyway. The closeups of the actors in this film are astonishingly detailed. When I pause on a closeup it looks like something I pulled off of the web. (I watched this with a XBR65X900E and an Xbox One S).

Good plot and and action packed. Love both of these guys on screen. Cool cats. A must have.

A nice b rated popcorn flick for the family. I enjoyed it but you can tell it was rushed because something was missing in the movie. Not much of a storyline but the action was decent.

THE MOVIE IS A LOT OF ACTION FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END ARTISTS ARE GOOD

The Dark Tower might not have worked with fans of the novels, but for someone like me who just wanted to enjoy a good, blockbuster-scale action fantasy, it managed to fit the bill. The gunfight sequences were absolutely brilliant and the visual effects were quite impressive too.

We rented this movie on Redbox and had to add it to our scifi collection.

Great movie and actors and watching it on 4k disc and 4K tv is even better
