'The Death of Superman' movie is a somewhat disappointing adaptation of the 1990s extended series of stories in the 'Superman' comic Titles. Similarly to DC Animated Movie's adaptation of 'Batman: The Killing Joke', at least the first half of the movie strays quite a lot from the source material beyond merely an effort to condense the overall story -- making the movie seem more like a 'New 52' Universe 'Justice League' story that ultimately, seems both forced and does fail to deliver the emotional impact of the original comics series. Consequently, I would instead recommend the earlier DC Movie 'DOOMSDAY' adaptation from several years ago in terms of being a far more faithful and impactful adaptation than this one...

This movie may be be better than Batman vs superman movie with real live actors. The fight scene between Superman and Doomsday was the fight of this century. Just great acting and great movie.

Art is great. They tried to stick close to the storyline from the comics and did a good job. Nice to see the JLA and even Superman and Wonder Woman talk about their relationship. Good watch!

Nice metal case. Figurine is a plus but doesn't really fit anywhere unless you keep the cardboard box. Movie is excellent. Sound and picture quality are top notch.

I love that they put more emphasis on doomsday being a huge threat in this movie. He is one of my favorite dc villains. I felt they did the fight between him and supes justice. The ending though I felt could have been a tiny bit shortened for better effect.

One of the saddest days for me was when this comic was released. Reading when one of your heroes dies is tough, watching it is tougher. Great story. Looking forward to the next installment.

If you read the classic comic series, death of superman you kinda get the gist of this. Its a modern retelling with new versions of the heroes. If you loved the original, this will be great. i fyou havent seen or heard of the original? Still love it.

It is a great movie. Tons of action! Superman vs the unstoppable Doomsday. The only being powerful enough to defeat Doomsday is the one and only Son of Krypton.

After Batman: The Killing Joke, I was a bit skeptical about this movie adaptation. But I was pleasantly surprised with this movie...I'm now looking forward to 'The Reign of the Supermen'

This is a great adaptation for the comic book. I thought it was very well done. Exceeded previous DC version of Doomsday by far. I would definitely recommend this to all comic fans.

If you love Superman this is the story of the death of Superman looking forward to the next one Better than Doomsday Trilling from begging to end the end will want you to see more A++++

The Comic Book is very good. The movie is GrEaT. It stayed with the comicbook. The story is Awesome. Even though the movie is a little longer, but that's okay. It made the movie better.

A great revamp to the doomsday story. It’s more like the original story from comics. Also better told from the original doomsday animated movie. It’s a must get and watch the credits.

DC has done it again. Outdone Marvel in the cartoon world. And outdone them selves in there live action universe. This is 10x better then the last justice league live action movie.

This is an animated version of the comic series that told the story of the death of superman that rocked the DC universe 25 years ago. any comic book fan will love this adaptation.

An excellent movie tribute to one of the best comic story lines of the 90s. The Death of Superman! I hope the Reign of Supermen will do as good a job when its released next year.

Huge fan of Superman and Doomsday. Great entertainment compared to previous version. Wife and son enjoyed it as well. Just wondering why so much different from comics version.

Great DC action throughout. All battle scenes are tough throughout this film. This is a true test of individual ability, strength and willpower. There are a lot of wow moments.

The Death of Superman for anyone with knowledge of this story will find almost nothing new within this film. However, it is still a great storyline and a great movie like most other DC animated movies.
