This movie comes closer to the comics than the Superman/Doomsday movie BUT still is only a close adaptation of the comics and Doomsday is drawn very differently. On a good note Doomsday introduction is much closer to the comics than the original movie

Really - They had to kill Superman??? while the premise is disturbing - the animation is top notch and the voices are spot on for entertainment purposes. Just couldn't give it a higher rating because "YOU DON'T KILL A SUPERHERO" just to be clever!!!

This retelling of the iconic Death of Superman comic pales in comparison to the source material. It’s also held back by being tied into the DC animated universe. A straight adaptation of the comic would’ve been way better.

This movie is far better than the first Dooms Day movie. It follows the comic book release closely. It also sets up the follow up movies to fall in the same way as the original comic release.

I just want my points. It's stupid that you have to leave a review to get them. Every other store that does this type of program just gives it to you.

Read the comics back in the day, loved the storyline, just wished that such an epic story could have had better animation. Would recommend for the story only.

I never got to watch the movie because it didn't play in my DVD player, not the DVD or blu-ray. Maybe it's my player but other discs have played fine

This movie was ok. I thought they would do a better job than the 2007 version, but not much better. I don’t get why they just don’t create a movie that exactly follows the Death of Superman comics from the 90’s. That was a great series which is why the comic was so successful. The figure that comes with the blu ray is ok, I do wish I got the package with the comic instead. Recommend only if you want to add to your collection, otherwise you are not missing anything special.

It is what it is not a lot of backstory, u basically need to know the original. Not a bad movie but the first one they released years ago was better.

This movie is average at best Dc needs to really up it’s writing game it’s movies are getting far too predictable

This was already made under the Superman Dooms Day title. Why are they remaking this? It was okay but watch until the end.

Most comic book nerds know this story well. But this does set up the next bunch of stories, namely Reign of the Supermen.

Hoping they make a continuation of the storyline that includes the funeral, the four Supermen, and Superman's return.

The movies pretty good! Give it about 3.5 stars actually.. just felt a little slow but the fight itself was great

Kinda childish. Most animated movies now are great but even my 7 year old grandson thought it was for a toddler

Need to read package closer. I thought I were buying a movie and found a full feature Cartoon Movie.

A update on a classic story. A big improvement on the previous animated version of this story.

The story moved along a little slow. The animation was solid. Ended with a quality cliffhanger.

I prefer the real animated cartoon voice actors over the 'famous' ones used in this movie.
