A great great movie about ta girl struggling through her teenage years and learning to make the best of things. This is a movie a lot of people can relate too. It has down moments but also has comedic moments. Hailee Steinfeld is superb in this! She perfectly executes the typical teenager who is focused on her own tragedies and refuses to see the world around her. Highly recommended

Convincing my friends to watch this movie is a little difficult. "What's it about." "Well it's about a 17 year old girl in high school...." I'm a 23 year old man and I loved it. I saw it at an early screening and the theater was packed. People of all ages were laughing out loud and people really seemed to enjoy it. It is not a movie for kids! I highly recommend it! Plus, the Blu Ray is a combo pack.

I adore this movie. It has the heart and charm of what you are looking for in a coming of age movie. It may be brand new in my mind but this is one of the best coming of age movies ever made. Certainly the story is fairly predictable given how most of these type of films work, but the performances really carry this into the potential greatness category.

Hailee does a fantastic job playing a young hi-school kid with a popular brother and a good friend. However when her friend becomes involved with her good girl friend hailee sees her life changing. She gets her school teacher into her world and helps her to see life in another perspective ... enjoy the movie.

The Edge of Seventeen gives a perspective on young people that are still in high school and the struggles they go through. With a comedy punch to it you learn the aches and pains of this 17 year old girl and what she deals with on a day-to-day basis. Through love and friendship and pain this movie is a funny must watch chill type of flick.

This is a great movie and I highly recommend it for anyone who has lost a loved one and struggled or someone who has had a difficult relationship with their sibling. The movie is full of heartwarming comedy and plot twists.

Edge of Seventeen is a funny, heartwarming and realistic tale that shows what modern high school can be like for those of us that don't quite fit in. Woody Harrellson nails it as the sarcastic father figure of a teacher in Hailee Steinfeld's life. You don't want to miss this one.

I was excited to see this movie because it looked funny from the previews - but it was soooooo much funnier than I anticipated. My husband, who was not interested in seeing it at all and was only in the room to use the table for work, ended up watching the entire movie and was glad that he did.

It takes you through the teenage angst, the journey to discover their emotions and the questions that sometimes can't be answered, why? Why? why? . Woody Harrelson delivers yet another classic performance to add to his list of great characters. Definitely worth a watch.

Wasn't sure this would be my kind of movie. Most other movies in this genre are not my bag. This movie is outstanding acting, writing and storytelling. Don't get this movie if you love teen dramas. Get this movie if you love storytelling done expertly.

I Redbox’ed this film on a whim but man I am so glad I did bc this movie is hysterical and awesome. Hailee Steinfeld was hilarious as a self absorbed teen, and Woody Harrelson did not disappoint as the “wizened” teacher. Fantastic!!

This is a film that deserved the Oscar nomination over some other overrated films (La La Land). Funny, charming, and poignant for all kids going through or those who did, a rough time in high school. I can't recommend it enough to people.

While I had not heard of this movie before purchasing it, I'm glad I got it. I loved the Woody Harrelson character, he played the part well. The movie was enjoyable with lots of chuckles, but I hope the high school students portrayed in this movie are atypical.

If you're expecting something raunchy like American Pie for a coming of age teen movie look else where, otherwise this is a good heart felt coming of age teen movie that is both serious and funny all in the same movie.

I could see this movie becoming a high school movie classic. It's so smart and definitely influenced by John Hughes' films. It's got a lot of heart to it. One of the funnier films I've seen in awhile.

Saw the trailer to this movie on another movie I had purchased months prior. It was a must see and it didn't fail us. It was hilarious and kept us laughing, keep the kids in the other room while watching LOL

First anything with Woody Harrelson in it is going to be good, this movie was a bit odd but it did explain a lot of things on the inside of the girl's thoughts. I thought the movie was done very well the actress was superb

Not since the 80s has there been a teen movie that spoke to viewers of all ages, giving everyone something to relate to. It's hilarious, and the actors all do a great job with the material.

A funny and quirky movie about growing-up as a teen in today's society. Steinfeld, Sedgwick and Harrelson were excellent in their roles and made this movie enjoyable to watch.
