Denzel plus friend, times kidnapping, and add a little bit of revenge = Equalizer. Good movie, I hardly remember any Denzel movie that disappoints!

My husband loves this movie. Good action and great actors. I would recommend this to anyone who wants part chick flick but action packed. Love it.

This was a phenomenal movie with a concrete story, fantastic script, and as much action that anyone could possibly want; Denzel Washington's acting was superb.

Denzel delivers in this superb movie. It does have a large amount of graphic violence, not suitable for children or young adults. I highly recommend this film.

I bought this movie mainly because I love it, but I happen to run across the steel book and loved the graphic so I bought this version.

Somewhat by the numbers, plot wise, but Denzel just won't let you look away, like Edward Woodward from the tv version, he is very commanding and uncompromising.

If you haven't seen the 2nd installment, watch the Equalizer first, then the 2nd one! If you are a Denzel fan, this is a must see!

I dont know what it is about this film, but I can watch it over and over again. The tone is strong and they set said tone early in the film. Denzel is great in this role because his character is "Mr. Cool Pants" and no one does cool pants like Denzel.
