This one was better than Training Day. Taken inspiration from a television show and really made it unique. Excellent acting and story line.

Movie is not like your orinary hero with his guns blazing. if you were looking for the hero working for the CIA or other agency, who would not have guest the he work in a hardware store and use the store tool to kill his enemy

Enjoyable movie. Watched it a few times already. Can't wait for the third movie.

Great movie to just sit back and enjoy - don't analyze every detail - instead sit back with some popcorn and enjoy the good guy (Denzel) kick butt. Well directed, good pace, violent but not gory, classic Denzel, and, my wife thoroughly it too!

How did Denzel become so bad? (I mean bad like in good... ya know... remember when they used to call cool stuff "bad" in the 80s?) Good movie, but stay away from the sequel.

Not the usual shoot and kill movie. There is a plot. the techniques employedin this movie are interesting and not seen in any other movie.

I thought it was a good movie even tho it was quite bloody. I'm usually use to that, but this one was really !! I love any movie with Denzil in it and I used to watch the real Equalizer all the time loved that guy & the show.

We loved the old TV series and this follows that theme with a lot more added action. Denzel is incredible and very believable in this roll. A real hero for the everyday underdog!
