Warning: once you start down this Evil Dead road...you'll want to see the rest of them...and each different version...

Not much can be said about Evil Dead that hasn't been said already. It's a movie I've already owned umpteen times over the years, but I couldn't resist buying it again when I saw that Best Buy had the exclusive steelbook!

I own Evil Dead on all prior video formats and am so happy with this 4K version. I was very impressed with the clarity of the scenes considering the film’s age. Highly recommended

You've never seen this movie, til you've seen it on 4K. Looks amazing.. Well worth the cost, for an older movie to look like it was taped yesterday..

I have so many copies of the evil dead movies even going back to laser discs. I have to buy any new format. The video presentation is fine but the audio is much improved.

This is one of the greatest horror films ever made. Some people may find the special effects work primitive by todays standards, but for a low-budget film as this is they are excellent and charged with a weirdly supernatural energy; something one never sees today in the big production horror films.

It's Evil Dead! Either you love it or you hate it. It's a fantastic B-grade movie with Bruce Campbell. When I realized I didn't have this movie I had to go right out and buy it. Love this item

Good classic movie the movie came out in the 80s very very very intense had a lot of action in and I liked it I would like the original one instead of the new one

Best movie ever! Looks great but only 1 small complaint. Why was movie not in wide screen? It showed two black verticals spaces between the movie.

The perfect blend of horror, cheesiness, comedy, and scariness that helped define this genre. Not to mention Bruce Campbell. Somewhat better on Bluray.

The steelbook case for The Evil Dead on bluray is very nice. The only bonus feature on the bluray is a commentary with Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Robert Topert (but it is a very informative commentary going through what it took to make the movie). You can watch in either 1.85:1 or 1.33:1.

Never saw the movie look this crisp, it's not going to blow minds because of the filming quality to begin with, but this is the best you can get for Evil Dead.

This is great to go back and see the original again. You can tell when they remade eventually that Bruce found his sense of humor which is what has made Evil Dead epic.

It became Bruce Campbell breakthrough role. Sam Raimi made his mark with this cult iconic film . Although a small budget horror , it turned out as aN audience favorite and spawned a few sequals. Still revered with horror aficionados . Started the cabin in the woods craze.

I haven't seen this movie but bought it as a blind buy since I've heard a lot of great things about this movie since they had part to post it up on Netflix I figured why not for this price

Originally seen this as a kid. My 1st real scare as a child. Holds up to the test of time as I rewatch it every year as part of my 31 days of October list

I couldn't believe how much better The Evil Dead looked in 4K. If you're a fan of The Evil Dead you should purchase the 4K disc ASAP, you won't regret.

One of the all time classic horror movies from one of hollywood's greatest directors, and it comes in a nifty steelbook. If you dont buy this, then you must hate movies.
