One of my all time favorite horror movie with the sequel being even better in my mind. Many horror fans and critics have this movie in their best all-time horror lists.

Bought this for my steelbook collection. And for the price couldn't see passing it up. Great addition for collector.

The Evil Dead on 4K is a great horror movie and it looks great on 4K. A must buy for any horror fan.

The Evil Dead is a unique classic in the horror genre. It was made with a low budget over 35 years ago. Considering the limitations of the source material, this is an excellent presentation, probably as good as could be hoped for.

I originally bought the remake and never realized it, whoops. Well now I finally have the original on blu-ray and I couldn't be happier! This movie is just fantastic.

Completely ahead of its time for mixing horror with comedy, and the introduction of quite possibly the coolest zombie hunter in movie history. Highly recommended!

Evil Dead has always been one of my favorite movies. While it's a lot funnier than the more recent remake the acting is appreciated. Great for horror movie fans.

Sam Raimi's classic Evil Dead has never looked better now that's available on Blu-ray. Unfortunately this release is missing the bonus disc originally packaged with the now OOP Limited Edition, but this release makes up for that with the beautiful Steelbook packaging.

This is where Ash, Bruce Campbell's character, began. Evil Dead is a cult classic with good reason. Watch this then Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness after that.

This movie is still scary and is so original. Sam Raimi did a great job and was very creative to make this movie with the low budget that they had. Even if today's horror movies have better special effects, they usually suck or are not that scary.

I love this movie and even if it looks a little bit cheesy through modern eyes, I still like to watch it once in a while. The HD transfer is solid and crisp.

A classic in horror film, you can't go wrong with The Evil Dead. Once you start watching, you'll quickly understand why the film sparked a pop-culture phenomenon.

4k HDR gives this classic a nice boost all the way around but the added resolution does expose some of the poor quality special effects.

I picked this up last week and watched it immoderately because I heard Great things about the transfer. It delivered on all cylinders

For many Bruce Campbell fans this was the first movie with his character Ash Williams who is hands down one of the best movie character in film history.

This movie is not for the weak of stomach. Its tag line, the ultimate experience in grueling terror, is no joke. It introduces San Raimi and Bruce Campbell to the film world, for which we are thankful. Nice looking Blu-ray.

One of the better horror films of the 80’s makes its debut of the 4K format! Way to go, Lionsgate! Keep up the horror films on 4K!
