    Once Ash vs The Evil Dead tv series came out on television, I had to research how it all began. Not knowing it started with this cult phenominon of a movie, followed by two others and now the tv series. Well wrth a watch.

    A great indie horror movie. I feel the 2nd film is better but this one is definitely on the spookier side rather than comedic. Great special effects for its time.

    This terrific movie has been released in so many forms for dvd. It is time for the distributor to release it in a steelbook with replicas of the movie poster artwork.
