Good action, not much of a story. I usually like any movie with Jason Statham except not this one.

Ok entertainment but there are so many more entertaining movies.

I bought The Expendables because a. It was blu ray and b. It came with a digital copy. I was happy up until the point where I tried to redeem the points at VUDU.COM, only to find out that they had expired. I emailed the company and have yet to get a response. So yeah it sucked.

It’s got action but it lacking in many other areas like plot

Cheaplyrics made and very flimsy. Damages easily. Wouldn't buy

movie is good but the metal case is cheap feeling.

That's pretty much it! :) When doing a rating of a movie, you are given the option to individually rate plot, cinematography and acting. I chose to skip those options because if you care about these things in your action movie, The Expendables is not the tree up which you should bark. This is a loosely thrown together vehicle that finally gives a chance for people's favorite action film stars from the last 3-ish decades to share the screen and say cheesy things to each other while blowing stuff up, making blood splatter and bad guys fall over. That being said, I LOVED IT! My wife and I laughed our way through this film as you can't help but give an involuntary little cheer each time another of your favorites melodramatically steps on screen. They spout cheesy line after tired cliche and all the while shoot the bad guys, blow stuff up and get out of really dangerous situations. It could aptly be called Deus Ex Machina, but that may or may not have lost much of their intended audience. ;) Did I mention they blow stuff up?

Now this movie was one of the best of the year to come out in my thoughts. this movie has all the action packed stars you could want. statham,stallone,li,lundgreen,willis,arnold,and many more this movie was directed by stalllone and he also stars in it.. if you like to watch action packed movies then you will want to get this movie even if you juts collect them. good price and all together a great movie. GO Buy It...(p.s stallone is thinking about making a sequel and he hinted it is already in production.)

Ok I am a female but I loved this movie the guys will love it too. It had you on the edge of your seat. There is one person in the movie that made a short appearance that could have been left out. But that is the only negative I can think of. This DVD is worth buying in my opinion.

I have heard negative talk about this movie and I let it go in one ear and out the other! I thought this movie was awesome! The extras were great and even had my non-action movie wife interested. I knew this was a great movie when she sat down with me, watched it and said "hmmm, that was actually pretty good." This is a movie that I could watch over and over and not get tired of it. I can't wait to see what Stallone does for the second one.

i enjoyed the expendables very much. the plot wasnt the best. but i dont care. the movie was really fun to watch. great picture and fantastic audio. very loud. has some great action scenes/ especially the car chase. has great extras including an hour and a half making of documentary called inferno. highly reccomended

If you watch The Expendables looking for in-depth plot, gripping emotional scenes and great acting...obviously you haven't heard who stars in the movie. If you are looking to turn your brain off and watch the largest collection of action stars ever do what they do best, then Expendables will deliver.

I watch this movie at least once a week on the weekends. It's a great action movie with some laughs. If you are looking for a deep story line this wont have it. But this movie is fun, laid back and you can just enjoy it without having to think. Besides for me, anything with Jason Statham in it is great.

Wasn't prepared to like this movie, but I was wrong! I had rented this movie first, but after watching it had to buy it. The action was non-stop. Overall, a very enjoyable movie.

This has to be the best action movie ever made. The Cast that Stallone had was great and the movie just had great all around action. This has to be the best movie during the summer of 2010. It is so great that i would def recommend this product to any one.

Well everyone should know that this movie cant really be that bad considering all the guys that they have in it... Just get it you cant go wrong with it!

Fast-forward to the Island of Vilena – a fictional island in the Caribbean where the real-intense action occurs. This is a well-acted non-stop ultra-high action adventure that holds your attention and it is pure entertainment for those who enjoy a high-octane action movie.

Some of the events in the movie didn't seem to be realistic, that it wouldn't have happened that way in real life, but the action definitely made up for it. I will watch it again soon.

I actually watched this movie several times and I felt it was very entertaining. I thought the storyline was good and it was good to see a lot of the action "stars" in the same movie.

Jason Statham is today's action star. I love most all of his movies, as long as he's the leading role. He has unique ways of fighting and has the eyes much like Clint Eastwood. Can't wait for his next movie and the next etc.
