Good movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fun movie from the past that looks great if you have a 4k TV with a 4k player, very good picture.

Bruce Willis, Blonde Hair, Need I Say More???
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not one of Bruce Willis's best movies. Definitely fun family entertainment for a weekend movie night.

Can't go wrong!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A classic film, and so worth having on 4K UHD! The studio did a great job remastering it, the audio is amazing on a home theater set up and the picture is great! I'll leave AV Forums and similar for the nitty gritty if you're so inclined (where I researched before buying) but for the average person: if you're into action, sci-fi, and a little bit of camp, The Fifth Element is amazing, and moreso in UHD. Get it!

Atmos and 4k
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Classic film. Remastered in 4k with Dolby Atmos. The Atmos will sound liek the 3D sound you hear in theatres if you have a system at home that can really produce the surround sound with decent bass....just playing this on a TV speaker will sound great, but not the same as they intended it to. The 4K picture quality seems to improve slightly from the 1080p version. I don't have a 4K television, so I can't speak to that accurately. It included a free UltraViolet digital HD copy, which is a nice bonus. The special features are amped up from the 2007 version. Nine new really fun extras make this worth owning.

I miss Chris Tucker

Worthy Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I saw the movie in Cinerama Dome when it first came out. I thought it a bit over the top and dumb. But the visuals were spectacular. Almost two decades later the movie grew on me and I've bought every subsequent version of the movie as a visual showcase, however the initial blu Ray release was horrible with a lot of video noise and bad color timing. However after reading the reviews of the 4K remastered version, I had to give it a try. One word spectacular, visuals that pop of the screen with no video noise and a great atmos soundtrack that surpasses the original theatrical release. It is my reference blu Ray now.

Great visual elements!

Great Movie, Great Features, Great Price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."The Fifth Element" is one of those brilliant, imaginative, sometimes over-the-top crazy sci-fi movies that can't really be described; you just have to buckle up and enjoy the ride. This edition of the movie, made from a 4K remaster, looks and sounds gorgeous, and has a nice array of bonus features. With Director Luc Besson's new sci-fi epic, "Valerian", coming out this summer, now's a good time to revisit the film. What's even better is that at the time of this review, the Blu-ray is only $9.99, AND is part of a buy-one, get-one free sale at Best Buy. How do you go wrong?!

My first steelbook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've enjoyed the movie since it was in theaters, all those years ago. As I was walking through the store the other day, I happened upon this steelbook and just had to have it. I love the artwork and feel of it. It's a unique piece of art in my collection, and my friends are a bit jealous - which is OK in this case - because my copy is cooler than theirs. The only thing I'd change is by making the poster board info sheet that's attached to the back easier to remove and also resized so it can fit easily inside the case. Other than that, perfect purchase.

Phenomenal movie; mediocre release
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fifth Element is a fantastic movie, worth seven stars. The movie itself looks and sounds great on this blu-ray disc. The only reason this release warranted four stars, rather than five stars, is the lack of special features. Before this blu-ray was released, Fifth Element was released on DVD in an "Ultimate Edition," with tons of special features. Not a single one of these features made it to the blu-ray release. It makes absolutely no sense to me at all. It would have been incredibly easy to put the features on the blu-ray disc; even if they weren't blu-ray quality. This leads me to believe that, at some point in the future, the movie will be re-released with all of the special features. If you just want the movie, you can't go wrong with this. The video and audio quality are fantastic. If you want special features, don't waste your money on this disc.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bruce Willis! Die Hard 3099! JK However This Movie Was A Slept On Movie! At First When I Seen This, I Was Kind Of Confused On The Cast & Flow Of The Movie! It Was Up & Down. Early Career Chris Tucker Confused Me After Watching Friday & Then This, But He Played A Good Comic Relief For The Movie. Willis Does A Great Job Making This Realistic, However I Think He Phoned In On A Couple Of Scenes. This Movie Holds Nostalgic Mid 90s Representation Of The Future! Now In 4K. Nice Watch. Check It Out.

A great looking release of beautiful film.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been a big fan of "The Fifth Element", it's one of a handful of films I saw multiple times in theaters in my teens. I owned the SuperBit DVD and had hesitated to upgrade to Blu-Ray after disappointing reviews of the films initial Blu release. While a second try was improved the third time is the charm here. The visual presentation is excellent, showing off many of the films practical effects. The audio track thumps and we finally get the old DVD Special Features ported to Blu which makes this the version to get.

My favorite film ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie is, in my opinion, perfect. The acting is superb, the writing is ridiculously great. It blends comedy, sci-if, romance, action and drama like no other film ever has. AND to top it all off the musical fight sequence during the Diva’s number still makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and I’ve seen this movie like a thousand times. It’s amazing. And seeing it in 4K Ultra HD is almost like being there because the picture clarity is insane. Love this purchase!
