Another good action movie. Lots of action. Steelbook is a plus.

Obviously my opinion is jaded, but this has been my favorite film since it's debut in 1997. A break through role for the enchanting Milla Jovovich, and tremendous performances by Ian Holm, Gary Oldman, Chris Tucker and Bruce Willis. Great special FX, hilarious humor and an excellent sound track complete Luc Besson's sci fi adventure. This steel book edition is the ultimate addition to a collection. I also have the Dvd and original Blu ray.

Great movie, but not impressed with the 4K transfer nor Atmos track

Great movie in steelbook . An old classic! But only blueray.

I am a fan of Science Fiction. I seldom purchase DVD's but made an exception with The Fifth Element. It was a unique movie when it first came out and I believe has held up well. The story line is well written, the acting and the characters grab you and the special effects are first rate. When I watched this for the first time, I felt that I was watching a saturday morning serial from my youth, but with better special effects (no strings holding up the spaceship). And Bruce Willis is great (Die Hard in Space).

Worth every penny. A remastered Dolby Atmos edition with jaw dropping sound even on a simple 4 piece soundbar sub and rear satellite system like Samsung HW-Q750B. Plain and simple , Wow! The movie itself is fantastic and fun. Bruce Willis has no equal, no replacement, it’s just Bruce!

I love this movie so much. This movie aspires to very lofty heights. It is a spectacular Sci-Fi Epic with a huge, wide-ranging story and mystery. Fantastic performances. Novel and imaginative ideas. I love every moment of it. Until the last quarter of the movie. That's when it devolves into fairly standard fare with guns and explosions and Bruce Willis action-hero-ing. Don't get me wrong. That's totally okay. I still love this movie. Yes, it may just miss the lofty heights it original strives for, but it still ends in a very satisfying way. You just need to get through the jump in tone. Once you do that, you're fine. This Blu-Ray transfer is very good quality, better than some other movies I've seen from this era. It's worth the price.

Such a classic movie now remastered in 4k is a no brainer

This film has always looked and sounded amazing and the upgrade to 4k UHD has raised the bar again. The vibrant colors, unique design elements, immersive surround mix, and avant garde musical score make it a feast for the eyes and ears. All of the characters are unique and quirky. This adds up to a movie that is unlike anything else ever made. The 4k package also contains the remastered Blu-ray with extras and the Best Buy steelbook is certainly the way to go.

the Movie is awesome if you you like Sci-fi and if you like Brice Willis. I should say I have an LG Oled and a Samsung 4K player And this movie looks great on it. Thing to keep in mind with older movies that are re done in 4K, is that majority of them will never look as good as new releases that were actually shot with 4K camers. That being said the picture is not as vivid as a blockbuster movie made in 2018 but it is better then blue ray quality. BUY IT!

It is the 20th anniversary to the release of the original movie. I had always enjoyed this movie back in the 90s, and it had great digital effect for back in 1997. It had action and both comedy. Chris Tucker's character is funny as heck. It looks good in UHD, but there are a few scenes that get a little grainy due to the age of the movie. The Dolby Atmos is fair, but didn't notice anything spectacular. If you enjoyed this movie back in 1997, then you'll enjoy it again in higher quality.

The newest release of The Fifth Element is better than I expected, and not just an upscaled version of the standard BluRay version. Feels a lot more like the theater version than the previous releases at 1080P, but not just because of the enhanced definition. The transfer was awesomely done with perfect saturation of the colors, excellent definition and the HDR really helps in both the brightest and darkest scenes. If you are a fan of this movie, this will not disappoint.
