Nastalgia for those who remember bruce willis at his best

One of my girlfriend’s favorite movies and mine classic

My wife and I have watched this movie countless times.It's a movie I compare to Rocky Horror Picture Show in that it has many scenes that we repeat with the actors when they are saying their lines.Bruce Willis seems to be having a lot of fun in many scenes.Look at his reaction to the actor in the scene where the guy tries to rob him(funny hat guy).Chris Tucker's character is also a laugh a minute.All in all,a sci-fi movie that doesn;t take itself seriously makes for a good time.

A true classic, one of the greatest sci-fi movies ever, wrapped up in one of the most subtle love stories ever. The characters are well cast and well acted. The creature costumes and effects are amazing for their time. The story is unique and dynamic.....

This is one of my all time favorite movies. I have purchased it on dvd, Blu ray, blu ray steelbook edition, and now blu ray 4k remastered edition. I have to say that this remastered edition seems to be the best yet. Excellent image quality and great new Atmos audio track. If you like this movie, you need to purchase this new version. Sounds and looks awesome. Another great purchase at Best Buy.

The movie itself is more of 3-4 star film, depending on when you first viewed the film, as it hasn't aged that well, but not as bad as some junk from the 90s. Far from the brand of film Besson was typically known for at the time, films like Leon and Le Femme Nikita, this Hollywood production still has that certain flare of his that shines through and really makes this a fun movie. The Pop Art Steelbook is one of the best of the series, in my opinion, and was well worth the purchase.

This movie is an oldie but a goodie. One of those that you play over and over but you never tire of it. That being said, now on 4k it's a whole different movie. Even funner because you can see everything now and the sound, well you know. One of the best to be brought current and Milla has had the talent from day one. Definitely worth getting on 4k.

Classic sci-fi movie from director Luc B. Great cast with Bruce, Milla ,Gary, Chris and more. 4k transfer pretty good and new ATMOS soundtrack siunds great ! I have this film on regular blu-ray with 5.1 Dolby Digital, but wanted to Atmos soundtrack !

I saw this in the theater 3 times back in 97 and being a child of Star Wars absolutely loved it!! The action, the future sets and technology, the actors and a beautiful Milla Jovovich! This edition is the one to get, not the original bluray release. This 4K transfer looks and sounds amazing and has all the bonus features from the DVD special release plus all new ones. Plus it was only $10!! Who could say no. Just get the movie and sit back for one fun ride!!

Plot, plot, plot. Many things can be pointed to as successful in this movie but it all comes back to the plot. Not as simple as god vs the devil. It's a true detective story with twist, turns and Bruce Willis as the intrepid ex cop tracking down the stones to solve the case. But, it is gift wrapped for us in as beautiful sci fi Christmas present, which endures the test of time. The special effects are 1st class and their is a nice dose of humor to satisfy all.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this movie since I first saw it and have had it on VHS, DVD and now Blu-Ray. It has that wacky European take on film making that can either blow you away or make you hate it. Fortunately, this is a great movie to enjoy by a talented director. It also gave us the first real appearance of Milla Jovovich, who has become a cult favorite in the action/sci-fi genre. Bruce Willis also plays his usual laconic, wisecracking hero with the skills to handle any situation.

I really like Luc Besson's movies... Subway... Leon the professional.. etc... even if I don't quite as much like his more mainstream action types.. I'm still always drawn in... and as stunning visually on blu=ray this film already was it ever better on 4k... Recommended to any fan...

This movie is definitely a classic. It's close to being a masterpiece for the time it was released in. This is a great remastered version of the original. It looks crystal clear on a HD screen. The story is excellent. I've literally seen this movie dozens of times and this is my absolute favorite remastered version. It also comes with a digital HD copy so you can watch it anywhere. For the price point, really can't complain.

I purchased this product with the sole intent of adding it to my ever-growing collection of steelbook blu-rays. This one did not disappoint! It arrived both scratch and dent free! As for the quality of the disc inside or the values of the video and audio content, I do not know, it has not been opened. I apologize, but I can say that the art values of the case is gorgeous and grand for anyone that collects such things as I do.

I have always loved this movie. As I said in the title, the blend of comedy, action and sci-fi are spectacular and there aren't many movies that can match it. The environments are unlike any seen before it and dazzle still. It is a thrilling, unique and fun story. The movie looks great, then and now. Has loads of specials and comes in the exclusive steelbook, at least the version I purchased.

I really like the great visuals that Luc Besson brings to his films. This is one of my favorite films, because it is fun to watch and doesn't take itself too seriously. Off-beat cast and story-line makes this fun to watch over and over. Glad it was re-released in 4k, which really makes the visuals and colors pop.

This is one of my favorite movies. I own it on vhs, dvd and now bluray. The story is about an important being from outer space, who is said to possess the power to rid the world of evil. How ever, the being crash lands on earth and the scientists create the metal being a body. I know or sounds so scifi,but it is riddled with lots of comedy.. But I'd course Chris Tucker is in it in addition to Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich! You can't go wrong with this movie!
