"THE FIFTH ELEMENT" STEELBOOK 4K & BLU-RAY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THIS GREAT FILM FROM 1997 HAS BEEN REMASTERED IN ULRTA HD 4K. I GOT TO SEE THIS RESTORATION ON THE BIG SCREEN AT REGAL AVALON 12 IN ALPHARETTA FOR A SPECIAL FATHOM EVENTS SCREENING AND IT LOOKED SPECTACULAR. I HAD NOT SEEN THIS FILM SINCE 1997 AND WAS REALLY IMPRESSED BY THE REMASTERED VERSION IN HIGH DEFINITION. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.

Looks nothing close to the first release!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie came out in 1997 at release it was very grainy. Even the first blue ray release wasn’t as good. Now it has released in 4K HDR remastered and Wow it’s beautiful. The movie is sharp for its age. Also HDR does wonders to these classics I mean everything just pops and the blacks are deep. Which really adds to these sci fi movies.

Great movie, 4k almost reference
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Always liked this movie. The storyline, actors, and effects were on point throughout. There are a lot of good scenes to show off or calibrate my OLED65E6P 4k, but the audio could have been a little better. I understand the whole process of "updating" older movies, and this was a great attempt, just not outstanding. Still, it is a enjoyable movie.

Even more improvements on 4K from the Blu-ray vers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even more improvements on 4K from the Blu-ray version. I found every version of this movie all the way back to VHS. The transfer from DVD to Blu-ray was the biggest difference but the 4K version definitely makes a difference if you know where to look. Not every scene is an improvement but overall it's definitely worth it if you're a fan of the film

An All-Time Favorite!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a big fan of Luc Besson movies and this movie is a great example of why - big stars in odd roles (maybe Milla Jovovich's first big role?), entertaining and action-packed story with great visuals and occasional Python-esque humor. Fasten your seat belt and ride the rollercoaster!

Dad's favorite movie, and now he has it on Blu-Ray
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a Christmas gift for my dad. It's one of his favorite movies and now he can watch it on Blu-Ray and experience it in a way that is much closer to how it was in movie theaters. The special case on this one is beautiful and really made this gift just a bit more special. I like it so much I am hoping I can snag a copy for myself at some point!

Best Classic SCI-FI Movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best classic SCI-IF movie with Bruce Willis as Korben Dallas and Milla Jovovich as Leeloo. Adding Chris Tucker as Ruby Rhod makes the movie funny as Bruce Willis (Dallas) shows how much he does not want anything to do with Chris Tucker character Ruby Rhod. The blue opera woman sings the best song for surround sound! Great Movie!!!

Beautiful packaging
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fifth Element is one of my favorite movies to sit and watch. So much that I have worn out my DVD copy of it. So I went looking for a Blu-ray version to update my library and found this awesome looking Steelbook. Apparently others liked it as well because it has been on back order for a couple weeks but I now have a great movie in awesome packaging!

4k facelift is nice!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie was always ahead of its time. The scenes are beautiful. A lot of your favorite actors were in this movie. The story is fun to follow. I believe since it is remastered in 4k I am able to see more than I did the first time. That gives it more replay value. Really liked this again.

No Digital Copy Included
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the 2015 remaster 4K release for the Digital Copy for iTunes, as noted in its title: "The Fifth Element [UltraViolet] [Includes Digital Copy] [Blu-ray]" however it only included the UltraViolet license, not the Digital Copy for iTunes. Best Buy staff did not understand digital licensing of Digital Copy vs UltraViolet, so were incompetent to assist with resolving the issue. Great BluRay version of a great movie, but do not buy if you're looking for an iTunes compatible digital license.

MUL-TI-PASS - loved this
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A really fun, imaginative sci-fi/action movie. I don't "love" Milla Jovovich but she did a good job in this movie, her character was good, great action and endearing. Bruce Willis was his normal self pretty much, which is fun. Chris Tucker floated between funny and annoying, mostly funny.

FINALLY DONE RIGHT ON BLU-RAY!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've waited YEARS for "The Fifth Element" to be given the proper blu-ray treatment. The previous release (2007) was flawed and void of decent extras. This latest release is 1000% better in picture quality and sound, befitting a sci-fi epic of this scale. Also, a ton of extras that help you explore this fantastic world, only add to the experience. Super-green!

Still a great movie.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is still one of my favorites. Full of eye candy, great action, gorgeous sets, and an awesome cast. It's a fun movie with good humor and plenty of action. This movie does not take itself too seriously, and is a blast to watch. This version comes in a digi-book like package, but the covers and pages are plastic. Overall it's a the best version of the movie yet.

The Fifth Element 4K
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By now everyone knows about The Fifth Element so I do not need to waste much time reviewing the film itself. It is a great movie and is still as entertaining to watch today as it was when released. Not a lot of movies, especially Sci-Fi, can say that. The 4K mastering does a lot to enhance the amount I enjoyed this movie. A must have.

The Fifth Element 4K UHD
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony has been doing a great job upgrading their movies up to a 4K versions and this movie, The Fifth Element, is no exception. My wife and I are very happy with this purchase.

One of the Best SteelBook and Movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome steel book to add to your collection, its a Matte Finish so I would suggest to take good care of it. Its a 2 disc with a digital copy included. This movie is a must own one of the best Syfy movies. This 4K version was master to perfection but I must say one small detail is that some scenes may seem a bit grainy.

Great SCI FI Classic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hard to believe it's been 20 years since this film came out. I actually had two DVDs of it but could never get them recognized by my Vudu account for digital transfer. This Blu-Ray included the digital download. So I have the disc and the digital format for one low price and its a higher resolution. If you have not seen any of Luc Besson's films you're in for a treat. If you have seen this and haven't seen it in a higher definition format then you're still in for a treat. The vibrant colors really pop out at you. And the story line is still just as entertaining.

Luc Besson's best Sci-Fi move
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sometimes a great Sci Fi movie DOESN'T need a sequel. The Fifth Element is that movie. Good villains, good effects, good story. Could a sequel have been developed? Sure. But it might have taken away from the original. It was my first movie on DVD, Blu-Ray, and 4K UHD. And I never get disappointed watching it.
