This 4K version of this film is worth the upgrade. Sony is the best in the business for 4K versions of their films and this masterpiece is no exception. Great picture and sound including Atmos is great. Worth the buy if this is a favorite of yours.

if you have the '97 version then this one only is somewhat better in picture quality. It has less contrast than the previous version though and that makes quite a bit of difference. The Atmos soundtrack is excellent! This one also adds bonus features not available on the previous version.

For fans of Luc Bessons work or anyone who enjoys a good film, The Fifth Element is a no brainer. I would also recommend another Luc Besson film in Leon: The Proffesional in one of Natalie Portmans best roles and a superb job by Jean Reno and Gary Oldman

This is one of those movies that keeps getting upgraded because it’s visually appealing and entertaining. Some of the effects are dated and showing their age, but the UHD audio and video are worth the dip.

Luc Besson is capable of directing some of the best movies (5th element, Leon the Professional, Nikita, Lucy, etc.) and also some of the most boring. Luckily, this one is one of his best. Characters, story line, light, music score, etc. are top-notch!

I am not going to give a detailed review for Fifth Element as the movie has been around for so many years now and there are a million other reviews about it beyond saying it is a fantastic movie. The Steelbook is really good quality and the visuals on it look really nice.

I don't know about you, but my friends and I are big Fifth Element fans. This blu-ray also comes with an Ultraviolet digital copy. Ultraviolet isn't my favorite, but I can watch it through Vudu,so I can deal. Great copy of the film for those who love the sci-fi adventure.

For those that remember this was one of the first movies to be mastered for blu-ray and it was a horrific conversion.This new addition with the addition of an Atmos audio mix is absolutely wonderful. Yes I know it is a somewhat "Cheesey" film but it is so much fun....

The Fifth Element was one of the most engaging sci-fi movies of the late 90's, with dazzling futuristic locations, solid action, and a fun if straight-forward story. The exclusive steelbook captures some of the icon imagery perfectly and is a definite improvement over the standard case.

Don’t go in expecting an award winner. This is a movie you watch to have fun. It’s a good time that’s full of laughs.

I love this movie, I t is one of my all time favorites. No, it is not one of the all time best movies I have seen, but it is a favorite. The transfer is good, but the real key is the HD Ultraviolet digital download, so I can load it on my iPad and watch when traveling.

This movie could be total garbage and it would still be worth ten dollars for the pretty box it came in. I should buy a bunch of the movies with the pretty art and then hide different Blu Rays inside. Later, when I forgot what I put where, I could surprise myself!

To add to my collection. I loved this movie since it first came out. This limited edition copy came in a plastic front/back cover that resembles glass and the binding with the elemental signs was a nice touch of detail.

So, I’ve bought this movie three times. This one for the Dolby Atmos. No worries, I’ve already purchased the 4K with Atmos. Maybe, potentially the last time I purchase this flick? Shucks, there will be a fifth purchase down the road I’m sure.

Great movie. The Steelbook is really nice. This is one of the better sci-fi movies ever. I put my 4K version in the case also. I look forward to Best Buy releasing these older titles in Steel books.

The movie is a masterpiece of cinema used to properly showcase the talents of Mr. Chris Tucker. Of course, the other performances do add to the glory here. 10/10 will watch again...again..again. More to the point, the case looks great on my shelf.

I had bought the 5th Element Steelbook this year as was dismayed to find an old blu ray copy inside so when this came up I bought it and gave the old one to a friend. The transfer does look much better and there are also special features not available on the old one.

On Christmas Eve, I was on a mission to find the video of the movie "Fifth Element". I had already tried a couple of other stores without any luck. The moment I stepped into Best Buy, I was greeted by friendly staff. I was immediately asked if I could be assisted. When told what I was looking for, I was shown where the videos were & the employee even helped search for it.. He found it within minutes. Even though it was Christmas Eve, the staff were happy, friendly & helpful. Awesome experience!!

The fifth element was a movie ahead of its time. It pushed the cinematic and audio limits with this movie. For a bunch of years this movie was used to test/ tune a home audio system is it composes multi aspects of audio and visuals. Great movie in a metal steel case.

Sharper than blu ray and sound better I would recommend getting this one instead of blu ray besides it comes with the blu ray.
