Mark is an up and coming boxer down on his luck mostly because of his drug addicted brother and complicated family. Issues are plenty for him to work through as his brother goes to jail and gets his self cleaned up. Is a cleaned up brother just what he needs to help win the championship?? True story but just ok movie. Glad to see the ending was a positive for everyone!!!

The supporting performances in this movie are exceptional. Overall though, this set of characters seemed to be so incapable of recognizing what was going on around them and how toxic some of their relationships were. It made me angry more than anything and I wanted to yell at them. It ends the way you think it would. Nothing truly fantastic, but it's entertaining.

Good story but the constant language might be offensive to some. Some of the characters are hard to put up with wanting to smash their stupid heads against the wall

Bought it for the price and thought it would have better action not what expected

Another average movie in my mind but I am not a fighter kind of movie watcher.

Not as good as friends talked it up. Glad I waited for the video to come out.

Mark Wahlberg movies are hit and miss for me, and this was pretty much a middle-of-the-road movie. Maybe it's because I'm not a big fan of boxing these days, but it was OK. Nothing terrible, nothing to write home about. I'm glad I watched it, but it's not a movie I'll go out of my way to watch again.
