I saw this movie in the theater and thought it was worthy of adding it to my collection. I never read the book but my wife did. Just like anybody else who reads the book before the movie, she said the book was better. I don't care though. The movie was great!

The movie was entertaining enough. Just not believable, for some reason. Not to say, this movie is from a true source, I would give it more creedance, if it were more, believable.

"The Girl on the Train" is a worthwhile suspense movie, with some unexpected plot twists to keep the viewer guessing until the end. The characters are generally pretty well developed.

Commuter Rachel Watson (Emily Blunt) catches daily glimpses of a seemingly perfect couple, Scott and Megan, from the window of her train. One day, Watson witnesses something shocking unfold in the backyard of the strangers' home. Rachel tells the authorities what she thinks she saw after learning that Megan is now missing and feared dead. Unable to trust her own memory, the troubled woman begins her own investigation, while police suspect that Rachel may have crossed a dangerous line.

This movie is slow to build but will not disappoint. I have not read the book, so I cannot say it is better or worse than the book, but the movie kept me guessing.

Wasn't quite what I was expecting, but turned out to be a good movie. Don't think I would go out and add it to my collection. Could have been just as good as a digital download.

The movie itself is very nice to look at. The film is very clean and very crisp on a 4k Television, however the film itself leaves much to be desired and many times throughout the film I found my mind wandering. Not only that I didn't feel that the film had good character development. I wouldn't be able to recommend this film on 4k despite the brilliant picture rendered under a dynamic picture. Overall, highly disappointed.

this is a very uneven movie. some things work and some don't. but to me it doesn't matter, because emily blunt gives a great performance in this. worth seeing for that alone.

The movie follows the book fairly well. There are some differences but nothing that can't be overlooked. If you like good mystery/suspense movies, this one is worth the watch

Writier got lost and ran out of lines so he or them retreated to the gutter for an ending . Any I say Anyone can crawl off to the gutter for lines but one with Soul has to find a Fresh breath of air to breathe life into the characters being. A chance to develop a troubled character in to an interesting study but no no the must run off to lost opportunity to have an endearing character troubled but a soul salvageable with truely classical writing. Such an effort was lost as will be the film in short order

This is a very good movie although it took a long time getting to the point it seemed like some scenes could have been shortened or deleted but overall its a very good movie

This film had a good theme and stayed accurate to the book which was great. See it. Its worth the time. Emily Blunt deserves credit and is inspiring as an actress to watch.

I have not read the book, but I did enjoy the movie. It is a little slow and some people may not like the pace. I thought Emily Blunt did a really good job in this film.

great emily blunt movie. Shes well known in the UK and im glad shes making movies here in the USA . Sicario 2 is coming soon and shes the main character again . If you never checked out her work here is your chance in this murder suspense movie.

Finally, The Girl On The Train, went on sale so I could add it to my collection! A very solid film with a great cast, and I will happily watch this one over and again.

This was an awesome movie. My husband had read about it and though it looked like an interesting movie. I think he was thinking date night chick flick, but this was a solid psychological thriller by the time it got to the end. Very good watch!

I read the book and i liked that the movie was very similar to the book other then the location but i like the location in the movie better which was taken place in NY on the metro North rather than in England. A place i am not familiar with.

This is a good movie to have in the ever growing movie collection ... An enjoyable movie to own to see when you need a good movie fix!! Here's to continuing growing movie collections and finding larger movie shelves! Keep on watching!

When the movie first starts off bare with the inential craziness with stories being told but once the ball gets rolling it's a good movie that ties up well by the end

I read the book first, it was amazing! The movie kept pretty close to the book, changing a few things. The actors did a great job and the movie was equally exciting.
