Movies kind of long takes a log in the middle but picks up good movie overall

I bought this on sale. I love it and it goes with the rest of my collection.

One of the all time best movie. Al Pacino at his best.

The Godfather Part II is one of the best films I have ever seen.

Blu ray transfer poor, no special features, telling 2 stories at least tied loose ends

Al Pacino is excellent in his part as a simmering human volcano waiting to explode against his rivals, both real and imagined. The sub-story of Don Vito's origins in the old country was interesting. This gives the character more fullness as to the "how" and the "why's" for his personality traits. The family as a whole is sad. The family seems to live a contrived life believing more things will make them happy. Happiness comes from within a person.

One of my favorite movies, "The Godfather Part II" DVD is a must-own for fans of the film. The film is compelling and features one of Al Pacino's and Robert DeNiro's best performances. The film is spread out over two discs (it's 200 minutes long and wouldn't fit on one disc without sacrificing video quality). The only extra feature is an audio commentary by director Francis Ford Coppola, but the film looks great; the movie itself is better than any special feature. Highly recommended.

The Godfather was a great movie all by itself, then The Godfather II comes out and it is even better than the original. It tells the story of Michael's continued rise to power and how Vito Corleone came to America and rose to become the head of the Corleone family. It has both Robert De Niro and Al Pacino early on in their careers and you can tell that they have a great future ahead of them. A definite buy for any mafia fan.

For $10, I don't know how you couldn't own this. In my opinion, it's the best movie of all time. If you know you don't like this type of movie, you probably know not to watch it. De Niro was awesome. Blu-ray looks great.

This film is quite simply one of the greatest movies ever made. If you are a fan of crime dramas, this is a definite must buy. The steelbook packaging is very nice and great for any collector.

I love the Godfather and The Godfather 2. I owned the first movie and came home one night and wanted to watch the second and realized I didn't own it, so I immediately got on the best buy website and ordered it!! The same day it came in the mail, I popped it in the DVD and ENJOYED a movie classic.

This is a great, that tells the story of Vito Corleone's rise in the mob life.

The steelbook is not as quality as others out there, and the cheap gloss finish is nowhere near as nice as a matte finish. I ordered both Godfather I and II, and both arrived with dents, and scratches - it really sucks when the packages are abused at the warehouse. In fact all the discs in my order were in bad shape - I will be very wary in ordering from Bestbuy again - IF ever again!

This movie is considered by many to best the best movie of all time. Pick it up to see for yourself!
