Good Dinosaur is Good Pixar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Good Dinosaur comes off at first as a Disney Pixar version of the Croods, from the viewpoint of the Dinosaur. Then toss in a bit of boy looses dad scene from Lion King. It's not Pixar's best (i.e. Inside Out), but the kids enjoyed it - although some parts were very intense for wee ones. That said - the background CGI scenery and the river water is the best in the industry - it looked "real" ! But add in "comic" looking dinosaurs and cave kid and it spoiled the A+ backgrounds.
