Growing up as a kid this was my favorite movie. I'm glad it's still around.

This is a classic from my youth! Once I saw Goonies was coming out in 4k, it was as good as bought. But once I saw this steelbook, it was a no brainer! Awesome movie and a beautiful steelbook. Glad I got it before it sold out. Picture quality-wise, I think it's great but some reviews say that it's not the greatest picture but a step up from the old Blu Ray. That's good enough for me!

A movie like The Goonies really doens't need a review. It's an instant 80's classic that features some very popular actors over the last few decades. John Brolin, Sean Aston, Cory Feldman just to name a few. It's a fun kids geared action/adventure film. It has loads of replay value and is such an engrossing movie, older viewers will still get a lot of enjoyment out of it. If you don't own it, buy it. If not for yourself, then maybe for a younger member of your family. Movies like the Goonies will always stand the test of time.

Love this film! And not just because I grew up watching this movie, emulating many adventures with my childhood friends. Apparently from a an original idea by Steven Spielberg, it is the simple of story of a group of pre-teens following a treasure map tracked by a ruthless family of criminals. Great special effects (for the time), memorable characters and lines, and a fun musical score! I look forward to sharing this special film with my kids when they're older.

Brings back lots of old memories of the Truffle Shuffle....

I have seen this movie dozens of times growing up and the clarity of this 4k version really improved the experience after all these years. I could see details in the background I never noticed before and One eyed Willie's treasure hoard was a heck of a sight. Also seeing the giant Octopus deleted scene was amazing. Definitely worth every penny!

80s classic in 4K and most of these child stars still have a run in Hollywood and others not so much anymore but what a great explorer movie and allowing kids be kids! And the first time in 4K! I always get the steelbooks and is only made possible by Best Buy! Highly recommended, especially for all you generation X people, like me!

Its Goonies in all its 4k HDR glory . it looks really good the colors are so rich . the blacks of course a a tiny bit washed out in some parts but as dark as this movie is once they go underground its hard to be perfect this old of a movie . still looks great . Thank you Best Buy for the Steelbook

I did not grow up watching and loving this film, so I have no nostalgia for it. There are some concepts and moments in this film that do not translate well to 2019, and without the nostalgia, this film didn't do much for me.

Just as good as when I watched it with Masons mother many years ago. Mason requested a movie with a monster thats not too scary. "Goonies" came to mind and we purchased it. We watched it when we got home and he loved it! Mason is 3 and is very much like his Mom!

I already had this movie in regular dvd, but when I saw the blue ray I was a no brainer. U had to get it. It’s one of my favorite 80s childhood movies. And my kids enjoy it today.the quality is better and crisp sound when I play it on my Xbox. It’s definitely a must have for fans of 80s movies.
