Wes Anderson's new film is one of his best, in my opinion. The characters and sets are top notch, the story is bold and different, and the humor is dry and brilliant. If you are a fan of Moonrise Kingdom, Rushmore or any other Wes Anderson picture this is a must have and a great addition to your collection.

The movie is set in Central/Eastern Europe and the characters, settings, plot, cartoons are very funny. However, there is a group that is quite obviously Fascist sympathizers. They bring the plot back to reality. This funny/serious balance is hard to do, but this movie does it very well.

Went to see this with family and the 8 of us laughed through the whole movie and really enjoyed it. most of us have never been into artsy films but this is one we will all remember as cousins sat together and had some great laughs. I went up to see the family and bought them all copies it is so worth buying

I've always had mixed feelings about Wes Anderson's movies. Sometimes I like the themes, but most times I find them a bit on the tedious side. Not with this one, it was exciting and compelling storytelling from the very beginning. Ralph Fiennes was phenomenal in this one. Top notch!

I rarely buy movies anymore, opting instead, to build my streaming library. Every year BestBuy has great movie deals on Black Friday. You can get excellent movies at a great price with digital copies included. That's what I do every year. Whether you want the disc, the digital copy or both, Black Friday is the time to buy.

Grand Budapest Hotel is a movie with a nice feel to it. Sometimes that is all that it takes to capture you, but Ralph Fiennes steals the show with his performance as well. Been a fan of his work from way back, around the Strange Days era! GBH is a fun, quirky and beautifully shot, loved this movie!

I know everyone has their own preferences in movies but this movie is unlike any movie I have ever seen. The characters are superbly done and the story just pulls you in and before you know it, you're in for the ride. This might be one of the 5 best movies I have ever seen, just wonderful.

There is no way that Birdman should have beat this film for Best Picture. It is so charming in the way that it is told and the set production was incredible. The cast is firing on all cylinders with Fiennes giving an amazing performance. There is nothing not to like about this film.

The film is like most Wes Anderson films as they have a feel all their own. Smart quirky humor matched with excellent performances. Pop this is whenever you can't decide what to watch and you won't be dissapointed. Gets better after each viewing.

My wife and I were trying to watch all of the nominated films this year and, although we didn't make it through all of them, I'm half that we made it to this one. Fiennes and the rest of the cast are fantastic. Hilarious Anderson film as usual. I especially enjoyed Ed Norton's contributions.

The characters, the cinematography, the direction, first class. This tale by Wes Anderson has some of the best actors in the business telling one of the funniest stories in a most unique way. Very clever and the way it was written and presented.

This was one of my favorite movies of the year, and possibly my favorite Wes Anderson movie. If you are a fan of his style, or if you like quirky comedies, i would highly recommend this one. The blu-ray has nothing special, but it looks good and sounds good which is all I really needed.

I kept seeing "The Grand Budapest Hotel" at Best Buy for under $10, and after watching it again, I can't understand why it's so cheap--because it's one of the beautiful films of the decade. All I can say is, take advantage of the great deal that Best Buy has on this disc, and try to get it before the digital copy expires.

A must see for any fan of one of the last great American auteurs Wes Anderson or any fan of creative and original filmmaking in this day and age of formulaic factory films that are pumped out by Hollywood for the consumption of the masses and aimed at the lowest common denominator as possible.

Quick and easy. Came faster than I expected. I will say I was disappointed to see I couldn’t get two items for the same shipping price, and I instead would have to pay separate shipping prices which would’ve nearly doabled my order price.

Director Wes Anderson creates his most delightful film yet; a black dramady that tells the story of The Grand Budapest Hotel, consierge M Gustave (Ralph Fiennes) and lobby boy Zero (Tony Revolori). Well written and sumptuously directed, the film is well-deserving of its recent awards.

This movie is hands down, one of Anderson's best, if not THE best film he's created. Being a fan of his earlier movies really helped to allow me to accept his unusual style, and once you do, it's fantastic through and through. Plenty of humor and plenty of daring-do!

The Grand Budapest Hotel plays out like and old cartoon in both look and feel. Wes Anderson's signature quirkiness is on full display offering one of the most memorable and unique films to come out in the past decade. Highly recommended.

In a world of cookie cutter entertainments, it is beyond refreshing to encounter something like The Grand Budapest Hotel, this is a film which virtually demands repeated viewings. You've never seen anything remotely like The Grand Budapest Hotel, and that's a very good thing indeed

While this a little quirky I did enjoy. The filming is interesting with a combination widescreen for current time and standard screen for flashback. I found the story interesting and moved along quite well with little dragging of time. I even enjoyed the features which are informing and sometimes as enjoyable as the movies they are about.
