Easily the most accessible of Wes Andersons films Grand Budapest takes you thru a story of tragedy with a smile. Ralph Fiennes is prefect in the role of the head of the namesake Hotel and a stellar cast is present to round out the group.

I love Wes Anderson's films! They always bring a sense of delight, style, and humor that is distinctly Wes Anderson. Grand Budapest Hotel continues this tradition with another Wes Anderson'y type film.

If you are image or cinematography geek must watch. Visual beautiful. Great shots with balance and colors. The movie has a good story as well. A lot of over the top humor and acting but works well

I didn't know what to expect when I first purchased this movie, not knowing what it was about, but I knew it had great reviews. Turned out the reviews were correct and this was indeed a fantastic movie. Definitely happy with my purchase.

What an interesting story. Saw this film with my sister and my cousin, didn't think I was going to like it and I ended up enjoying it. The visual and audio quality were really great for this film.

Missed this one in the theater so this home video version allowed me to catch it and I was not disappointed. It is brilliantly written and directed and a delight to watch.

As only Mr Anderson can do, this tale is a gem. Extreme locations, minimalist dialog, and a supporting cast of actors that rivals what Woody Allen assembles. Extremely enjoyable from star5 to finish

My Mom, was a actress of Stage she would have adored every second of this wonderful acting endeavor . .. .. by these hilariously. talented actors who indeed put the theatrical STAGE to the cinema/DVD production. Well done performance.

The Grand Budapest Hotel is the sort of comedy that gives the viewer the impression it was written by someone slightly brain-damaged in the best way possible. A strange and sometimes somber wraparound bookends an even stranger madcap adventure of lust, theft, and murder.

Grand Budapest Hotel has all the unique Wes Anderson quirk fans have come to expect. However, what separates this from his past films is acting, narrative and pacing that ranks this among the greatest movies of all time.

I love this story. It has many different characters all living and working at the hotel. Don't want to give away the good stuff, but it's whimsical and comical and emotional. Very interesting and well worth your time.

Had no idea what to expect when first viewing. Brilliant acting for such unique, interesting film. Great colors and interesting how aspect ration changes during the film. Unique to say the least.

The movie starts out fairly light, somewhat comical, and reminds me a bit of Gulliver's Travels, for the two primary characters. There's a few things in it that bother me (mostly the cat scene), but it's enjoyable, and seems like a good movie to highlight this director.

So nice to see a refreshing funny movie. Full of excitement. I really like having the movie in Blu Ray & digital HD because sometimes we do not have access to blue ray. Now we can watch it anywhere. Can't wait for Grand Budapest 2.

One of my favorite Wes Anderson films in years. It's got a great cast and a really unique narrative device with the jumping between time periods. This is the disc to buy until the Criterion version hits.

One of my favorite films, regardless of director. Fun and touching, with the trademark quirkiness and excellent ensemble cast typical of Wes Anderson, but never enough to become cloyingly precious.

I ended up seeing this movie twice in the theaters twice because I found it to be very hilarious and visually astounding. Paying 10$ for this movie in the stores was a steal! I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone I know.

Thought this was an interesting movie. It took me a couple times to really sit down and watch it, but once I got into it, it was really good. I would say if you liked either Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou or Moonrise Kingdom you will like this movie. Has the same rhythm.
