I bought this movie not knowing much about it. I think it is worth seeing once, but I probably won't watch it again. The plot is unique and the acting is good, but it was too slow for me to want to stay into it.

This was kind of a disappointment. Maybe I was expecting something funnier or something, but this movie was mainly quirky, not funny. Maybe a different sense of humor.

Good Film but not enough Bill Murray, Worth Watching once and then Wes Andeson's Smarmy I am smarter than you even though I didn't go to film school attitude starts to wear on you.

I haven't liked previous Wes Anderson films, but bought this one because it was nominated for Academy Awards and was on sale. Should have saved my $6. The good (occasionally witty dialogue) was far outweighed for me by the incessant and unnecessary use of the "F" bomb and other profanity. Definite not Best Picture material IMHO.

We really wanted to like this movie! We were super excited when it started! The colors, the hotel and the characters, were very interesting, at first. Then it just dropped off for us. I'm not really sure what we found most disturbing about this movie. At about halfway through the movie everyone in the room was asleep! ZZzzzZZzzZzZZ

I like a lot of Wes Anderson films and while I think this one is very beautifully put together it never seems to keep my interest all the way.

Wes Anderson does it again with his most recent film. I've been such a fan of his since day one and couldn't be more pleased. Great romantic comedy per usual.

The blu ray does this movie justice with all its vibrant colors, and lively actors. Good movie to watch

A bit cutesy but wonderfully shot and when the film got too cloying there were amazing colors/sets and costumes and a lot of 'little' jokes

I enjoyed this...it was on sale which i feel the price point was accurate. Not sure how this was nominated for best picture, but enjoyable movie.

The movie was not what I expected. It was interesting in an odd sort of way. I am intrigued to see what the follow up movie will be about.

When I saw this movie is nominated for Oscar, I bought it and watched. It's fluent movie but nothing else. Over all it's overrated movie..

its the kind of movie you keep watching because somethings going to liven it up, but never does

This movie was okay for one watching, but I would not watch again. The reviews made it sound better than it was.

Not the biggest fan. Great visuals though and the uvvu is always a great add. His movies just take a lot of work on my end.

Not the worst movie I have ever seen but I was expecting more from the cast and the trailer. Plot is not very complex but the pacing of the story gives the movie and odd feel. I'll watch it again at some point but probably not a long-term keeper for future viewing.

I had heard the was a highly recommended movie. Not quite up to the hype. Think Big Fish meets Amelie.

Good movie. Kind of crazy though. I can understand why it won some awards . The plot was ok. Acting was superb.

Wasn't what I expected. Very weird movie but I enjoyed it. Wouldn't watch it again. Characters were fun.

The movie is on the line of Baron Munchausen or Big Fish. It is strange story but entertaining to watch.
