I really enjoy this movie and i believe this one truly takes advantage of the 4k experience. Action packed but not one i would watch over and over

The movie itself is totally senseless but entertaining nevertheless. The real reason for buying The Great Wall is that if you have a 4K TV that does HDR, it is absolute eye candy. The image is sharp and dynamic with excellent color saturation. It's an excellent product for showing what you new, expensive 4K set can do.

This is NOT an "historical" flick; it's a fantasy ACTION extravaganza. Did I say "ACTION?" The effects blew me away. The female warriors are incredible. The good news is that there is not much thinking involved. I recommend a bit of your favorite "relaxant," turn off your brain and go along for the ride.

Totally different movie from Matt Damon, plenty of action and special effects were first class.

It was great on Blu-ray, but a LOT better in 4k, and with the 7.1 tru sound.

This movie was incredible, the film was so perfectly made I felt like I was in the movie!!

The writing is okay and the characters are never fleshed out, but the colors on a 4K/HDR TV will look amazing. I felt it spent too much focus on Matt Damon's character, and wish it spent more time on the warriors, who looked great. If you want an amazing Chinese made film, check out Red Cliff.

One of the best action adventure movie. The battle scenes, costumes, music were beautiful.

The movie was better than I thought it was going to be. Pacing was pretty good for an action flick. I like that it didn't take itself too serious. However, the pic quality was outstanding! A lot of CGI, but it blended well. Picture was sharp and vibrant, and the expanded color gamut was on full blast.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much from this movie. I went into it reading a few reviews and thinking that it was going to be terrible. It was actually pretty entertaining, and despite a few plot holes and inconsistencies, it makes for a great popcorn flick as it is a beautiful movie to watch.

Rented this the first time around and was pleasantly surprised. I'm familiar with Zhang Yimou movies but thought I wouldn't be too impressed with it. I was pleasantly surprised to find it entertaining enough to purchase it in 4K. This just ups the audio and visuals to the next level.

This movie was better than I was expecting. Action from beginning to end!

Got this one for a great price and the it was worth it for the picture quality of the HDR. Not the best movie but great popcorn flick for sure. The Dolby atmos sound rocks and if you have a good sub you will feel the lows for sure. I recommend this pick up if you need a good action flick.
