I really wanted to see it on the big screen was too busy ..... I heard mixed reviews from those who saw it, but I purchased it anyway. I think it was a good movie, the lush colors and story were very well done, the acting is what was subpar, it was a good movie not a great one.

I knew nothing about the story before viewing so I was surprised by the story and the nonstop action. The film is beautifully filmed with eye-popping color. The action never stops. Matt Damon is okay as the lead actor. The standout of this film is the CGI which is outstanding.

I thought this movie was great. Matt Damon against a bunch of demon like creatures. I went into this looking for a good time and that's exactly what it delivers. People need to start enjoying movies like this again. They don't make enough of them and won't since they fail.

I don't get to see movies in the theatre that often, but this was one that I made a point to see on the big screen. I am glad I did. This was an epic movie that is visually stunning. The CGI was phenomenal, and the action scenes were great. There were times that the dialog seemed forced, but the pilot moved well. I walked out of the movie thinking, "This is a DVD I need to own!"

Expectations were very high with Matt Damon being in the movie, however the movie's writer and producer should have developed more dialogue and more of a storyline around the lives of the soldiers and the long-term battles with the creatures. Movie is worth seeing...

Was a solid film , if you enjoy Matt Damon you’ll like this film. Has cool Chinese historical themes even if you’re not too into history. Also has some surprise stars you wouldn’t expect to be in this.

Didn't expect a deep story out of this movie and the action was good.

Is this the best movie in the world? No; but if you know theme, you know what you are getting. It's a Hollywood /Chinese mix, using Chinese legends to bring the West and East together in defense of China (and the world). It's not perfect, but it is entertaining

The graphics are awesome. Saw it at the theater and have to purchase it.
