I was surprised as to how much I enjoyed this movie. But the soundtrack.... is amazing!!! I love the sing along feature the Blu-ray offers so I can feel like a pro and actually know the words to the song.

My daughter loves this movie and can't stop singing all of the songs from it.

I love this movie. The music is fantastic and the story is great for all ages.

A very satisfying musical based on the early career of P, T. Barnum. We are introduced to him as a boy and follow his story through marriage, family, the “freak” show, Jenny Lind, and creation of the three ring circus. Music is the most delightful part of the show, however. Drive, intensity, and solid roots in modern music, including hip hop and gospel. Don’t expect circus marches; not even “Barnum and Bailey’s Favorite.” The music sucks you into the show. The best example of that is in the specials. Watch the cast pitch their show to studio execs by singing a power piece that gradually sucks everyone in the room into the “beat” regardless of whether performer or not. In the finished movie, choreography for the production numbers is wonderful, too.

I have been looking forward to getting this film. It's loads of fun.
