blu ray edition was good but this was even better. great movie for family and friends

The movie tells a nice story about P. T. Barnum. It makes him seem like a much more likable person than I believe he was, based on what I've read about him. The music was great. As soon as I was done watching it the first time I was immediately backing up to hear some of the songs again.

The choreography is superb, I personally love the music, and, to me, the movie and dancing was outstanding.

It really is a MUST SEE! All the songs sang in this movie are extremely catchy and the actors’ performances are GREAT! Had to buy it!

This movie is great fun for all who watch it, if they will simply suspend disbelief and enjoy the story, music, and cinematography.

A modern musical masterpiece this is not. It’s the type of feel-good yarn that Barnum would rise up out of the I grave and applaud. What better way to villainize Jenny Lind, a philanthropist singer who left Barnum because she couldn’t put up with his nonsense, than to make her the distracting temptress. To make the burning of his circus into a hate-crime rescue-mission (Gangs Of New York did it better?). Even the critic character is a cliched stuffed shirt that tries to give the film a free pass from criticism. It’s simple, it’s INSPIRATIONAL, and it’s too cloying. And...it’s delightful? Maybe it’s the “This Is Me” number and it’s misfit cast (that is sorely underused). But it’s fun!

the BEST musical ever! Love the songs and the dance scene are amazing. costumes are fabulous as well.

This movie is a great musical and really gets people moving with the music! Highly recommend owning this one.
