Love musicals, but wasn't real interested when this first came out since I'm not a fan of circuses. However, this was an AWESOME movie! Absolutely loved it! Loved the story line, the acting, the singing, the choreography, the characters, everything! Everyone did a fantastic job. And, Hugh Jackman & Zac Efron . . . nice eye candy. :D I was also actually surprised when it was over as it really flew by. It could have been longer. :D

If you like musical movies this is for you. It have a couple of unforgettable songs.

The film is quite enjoyable with it's earworm pop inspired songs and eye catching visuals. The film takes many liberties with the historical facts, which can be confusing for younger children with a desire to learn more about PT Barnum and find that the real life figure was nothing like he was in the film. I purchased this film early on digital because my girlfriend really wanted to see it and missed it in theater. What resulted was multiple viewing over the next week. The kids could not get enough of it, and the soundtrack has become a regular part of rides in the car. When it came out, I picked up that physical release because I enjoy the extras included with the film. For a first time viewer or someone who has already seen the film, this is well worth picking up.

I am not a fan of musicals at all to the point where I avoid them. However, due to the previews that I watched for The Greatest Showman and in addition to the movie was on sale, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. The movie was well put together: the cast, choreography with the choice of songs, and the stunning visual effects. I can literally watch The Greatest Showman over and over again. Great movie!

Good movie that makes one want to learn more about PT Barnum and the full life he lived.

I have always enjoyed musicals, but some just tend to grab me and won't let go. The Greatest Showman is definitely one of the best musicals ever. It will grip you with the story-line and the outstanding musical score and performances. Hugh Jackman does a phenomenal job as PT Barnum and the rest of the cast were outstanding as well. This musical will take you on an emotional journey that will surely have you singing and dancing along. I highly recommend this amazing film.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the musical performances. The movie itself seemed like rather irresponsible revisionist history. I highly doubt much of it is historically accurate. But I suppose that simply isn't its point. I would only recommend the film if it is available on a streaming service.

Most people are surprised to learn that Hugh Jackman (Wolverine!) is actually a first-rate Broadway singer. I loved his performance as Curly in Oklahoma and was not disappointed here. In addition, the songs are quite in the mainstream of Broadway tradition while still seeming new and fresh, though not of the Sondheim variety. The story is well-written and all the cast members are up to the task. Makes a nice double-feature with the P. T. Barnum DVD with Beau Bridges.

My teen age daughter has this on her top movie list for 2018. We all enjoyed it.

If you want a 4K Blu-Ray disc that shows just how good HDR can look, and Dolby Atmos can sound, THIS is a must buy! Not only that, but you get a good amount of bonus features including a commentary track, and the movie itself in my opinion is fun even if is has flaws.
