When I originally heard of a movie starring Hugh Jackman doing a number of singing scenes, I wasn't interested. I had enough people advise me to watch this movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The music, the acting, the cast were all superb and it's a clean movie that whole family can enjoy. With former Disney stars working alongside Jackman, you may be pushed to buy the soundtrack along with the movie!

I first saw the movie on HBO and knew I would want to own it. I can hardly wait to watch it with my family, as they haven't seen it yet. I know my wife and children will all love it. For those that didn't already know it's a musical so while there is good acting, the focus is on the songs and having the songs tell the story. Luckily the songs do a fantastic job, and are great to sing along with too.

Fearing that this movie was just trying to capitalize on the other Musical stories like Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Chicago, Le Mis, and La La La land, I was not that anxious to see the movie. We did see it in the theater at my wife's insistence and we both loved it. The Blu-ray has Superior video and sound, both important in a show with such great visuals and sound. Worth repeated watchings in the home theater.
