This was a great movie! I am NOT a fan of musicals, but this is probably the only musical i have watched more than once. I purchased this for the Mrs. and I was really impressed with the music. The storyline doesn't follow PT Barnum's actually history with the circus, but a good movie nonetheless. The songs WILL get stuck in your head.

Great movie with amazing dance and singing sequences.

I heard this film was a great film to test out the video and audio system in your home theater and not only did it meet my expectations but the movie was actually really good! Right from the beginning the sound from this film blew me away. The music is great and the visuals are astonishing. A must have if you own a tv or projector that can display 4K hdr.

I wasn't initially interested in watching this, but my wife was curious and it was on sale. From the opening scene, it was captivating. I found myself liking most everything about this movie and the presentation. The story was engaging and well told, the performances were excellent with great musical set pieces and this is a reference-quality 4K presentation.

My 7 year old daughter loved this movie so much we decided to buy it on Blu-Ray which also came with a digital copy for the iPad which will be great for road trips! The story may not be true to how the circus really started, but it’s entertaining, songs are catchy and uplifting, dancing and music is great and my family of five can all sit and enjoy it together! Highly recommend this movie!

This movie was recommended to us by a waiter at a restaurant. We thought it was worth the gamble. We'd seen it in the store multiple times and passed it over. Yes, it was a musical. No, it didn't play like most musicals. I loved it for the color, the action, and how the movie addressed various forms of prejudice in a day when that just wasn't done. Excellent all around movie for the whole family.

Looking for a stocking stuffer...look at this one!

Hugh Jackman did an admirable job singing and dancing all be it more than was necessary. Hard to decipher fact from fiction. It is an entertaining movie that deserves viewing as long as one does not expect a complete biographical production!

I'd give it 3.5 if possible. This was well produced and looked nice. Not a great flick but not a bad one either. It did seem a bit preachy in a part or two (kind of like how a episode of Star Trek could get a hold of a something, if you know what I mean).

A wonderful film to own and more amazing music by the brilliant composers Pasik and Paul (the modern day Rogers/Hart/Hammerstein). The execution and cutting of the Zac & Zendaya trapeze/rope dance is flawless. Be sure to watch the "extras" on this disc featuring the actors' workroom scene where Keala Settle debuts "This is Me."

I purchased this after watching on Cinemax. The film has a great storyline. The acting displays tremendous talent. For those who have a 4K Dolby Vision enabled TV, the colors just jump off the screen! For those who may like Michelle Williams, Hugh Jackman, and Zach Efron, you’ll like this film. The musical score is fantastic, also!!

I think that "The Greatest Showman" was one of the greatest biographical/historical films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite biographical/historical films of all-time. I first saw this film in theaters and I enjoyed it immediately and I also think that "The Greatest Showman" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable drama including amazing and original personal storylines.

Spirit lifting, inspirational musical that will make you look at Wolverine in a different light. Yes, it is a highly selective look at his life, but that is the person that Barnum was. If you've never seen this movie, just put it on, turn up the volume, and be prepared to have your speakers be blown away from the first second of the movie!

I bought this for my youngest daughter for Christmas. She begged me to watch it with her and I have to admit the songs were catchy. The story is not very deep but serviceable. It is loosely based on the life of PT Barnum. Definitely worth a viewing.

We cannot understand why this thoroughly enjoyable -entertaining film did not receive a warmer critical reception. The Dancing, the old Hollywood style musical productions and the film’s characters are thoroughly enjoyable. Although historically the story line takes some historic poetic license, it sits well as an entertaining film. Hugh Jackman is powerful and holds the film together. This piece also carries a sub-message that we are all created under the sane “Tent” and should be aware of how we treat each other. Go to the Greatest Show On Earth and ENJOY it!
