This film is one of the best movies made in its genre and in film history. It is just so well directed, and beautifully paced to tell the story properly. It's also hands down one of the best adaptions of Stephen King. The acting is outstanding. This film will always be remembered in film history as a great achievement.

Just a Great Movie. One the best Steven King books and Movies! Had it on dvd but had to have it on blu-ray. You can't go wrong buying this movie. Not for kids though. Some adults might get grossed out too. Great story and acting.Vrty touching ending.

Great sentimental movie. It will make you cry. Michael Clarke Duncan’s of John Coffey performance was a career starter and very mesmerizing. 4k really brings the colors out.

The steel is marvelous. And it goes without saying the film is incredible as well. It has been proven over and over, anytime director Frank Darabont decides to direct a Stephen King adaption, magic happens.

A definite tear jerker, Michael Clark Duncan and Tom Hanks, is outstanding and the perfect people to play in this movie, after reading the book as a child, all the characters came to life perfectly in this movie!

A strong movie that just hits you in the right spot and just has you rooting for a happy ending but leaves you with a twist but just a great heartwarming story from beginning to end.

This is one of my favorite movies, based on one of my favorite books, and to think that now I have a copy of the 4K restoration, it’s wonderful. The movie looks incredible, and the steelbook is gorgeous.

This 3-hour movie is so gripping. Tom Hanks and the entire case give soulful performances. It’s available in a simplistically beautiful Steelbook. Glad this movie is in my collection in great quality.

Heartbreaking movie for sure! However its so good. Touching, thought provoking, and at times funny. Maybe not a must in 4k but as a huge fan I had to have it.

I love this movie! Great performances by all the actors and great storytelling by the director. Also, great transfer of the 4k resolution. Would recommend this film.

The movie itself is excellent and looks great in 4K, but some special features are missing from the bluray version that I have. The Steelbook arrived with 3 dents and 17 scratches down to the bare metal. I hate steelbooks! Why are they made to be as fragile as an egg? I wholeheartedly recommend the movie and this 4K version, but I highly recommend getting the standard packaging unless you want to be disappointed every time you pick up the Steelbook.

So happy to add this to the 4k collection. I had it digitally already but now I have it physically which is awesome. Always better to own physicaly then digitally

I think that this was a decent pick-up at a very reasonable price I really enjoyed watching the movie without any commercial interruptions. I only wish this Blu-ray could have come with a Digital Code & a decent menu selection.

The Green Mile is a phenomenal follow up for Frank Darabont. Loved it from the first time I seen it in theaters years ago & still love it to this day.

It's no Shawshank, but I'd probably rank it a solid second among Darabont's King adaptations. It feels its three-hour length, and the apparent messaging that even "good" officers of the law are bound by the rotten system that condemns innocent minorities is, speaking generously, troublesome, but it's fantastically acted throughout, especially by then newcomer Michael Clarke Duncan, may the great chocolate hulk rest in peace.

I bought this disc for the 4K and Steelbook upgrades, and I am glad I did! Now I own the two best Stephen King adaptations in the best possible format, and both in Steelbooks for display!

This is one of my all time favorite movies. The story is so sad but it is so well written it draws you in. The characters range from completely endearing to completely hateful and Persee is so annoying you want to choke him. The story is amazing though; so many believable characters.

One of the best movies ever made and the story line is fantastic. Great actors on their A-game are jammed packed in this amazing story. Had to have this one on steelbook 4K - a must!

The 4K HD has fantastic sound and picture quality. The story has parts humor and explicit violence. The cast is excellent. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic movie and in 4k it is awesome. It should be in everyone's collection. 4k is better than streaming and this movie should be watched in 4k.
