Great movie movie a must see, even after all these years

This is a veru underrated movie in my honest opinion.

Good King adaptation even if it doesn’t live up to Shawshank Redemption

The movie itself is excellent and looks great in 4K, but some special features are missing from the bluray version that I have. The Steelbook arrived with 3 dents and 17 scratches down to the bare metal. I hate steelbooks! Why are they made to be as fragile as an egg? I wholeheartedly recommend the movie and this 4K version, but I highly recommend getting the standard packaging unless you want to be disappointed every time you pick up the Steelbook.

It's no Shawshank, but I'd probably rank it a solid second among Darabont's King adaptations. It feels its three-hour length, and the apparent messaging that even "good" officers of the law are bound by the rotten system that condemns innocent minorities is, speaking generously, troublesome, but it's fantastically acted throughout, especially by then newcomer Michael Clarke Duncan, may the great chocolate hulk rest in peace.

A great movie and nice to be able to redeem thr digital code on more than one streaming platform. The Steelbook isnt quite as nice as other movie steelbooks, but they properly shipped this one in a cardboard box instead of a bag. So it arrived in perfect shape.

The green mile is one of my favorite movies. When my partner and I were in the movie theater watching the movie, we both looked at each other and said, “We must buy this movie on DVD.” When I saw it at Best Buy on blue ray I just had to buy it.

This is an amazing movie. Tom Hanks, as the tale's narrator, once again demonstrates his incredible generosity as an actor. Tom Hanks is brilliant as prison guard Paul Edgecomb, a man who thought everything in his life was straight-forward only to have his views challenged, turning him into a conflicted character who isn't sure what the right thing to do is.

Not as great as Shawshank but still great. Picture quality not the best but the movie really hits you emotionally.

great movie but the steelbook is a little plain and doesn't look the best in person. wish they had chosen something else for the artwork.

A review can be found on the back of the box as well as a summary, so I can only say if you're a Tom fan you'll enjoy it. Unique plot and twist on a common story from the era and area.

This movie is a bit of a classic given it time frame I believe that you should own this film

I put off this movie for a long time. When I finally got to it I was glad I did. You really get invested in this one. At least I did. Another great Tom Hanks movie. Also a great story.

A tad long, but the cast is stellar and the plot is intriguing. Tom Hanks great as usual. Michael Clark Duncan, Sam Rockwell, and David Morse all good too.

Another great Tom Hanks movie that won awards! This gives the viewers the story and perspective of death-row prisoners.
