This movie is definitely in my top 5 of all Tarantino movies. A lot of people complained about the slow beginning but I appreciate good dialogue and character development. This is one is no exception. Just stick with it past the 1st hour and the payoff is worth it. PLENTY of action. Some that might make you wince a few times. Highly recommended.

Tarantino is one of the greatest examples of 'love him or hate him' when it comes to American filmmakers. The Hateful Eight had its flaws, but overall was a satisfying experience. It may be QT's greatest film from an photography and editing standpoint. This blu ray does not contain the longer roadshow version of the film. The steelbox art is a sexy addition to any shelf of blu rays.

The Hateful Eight is a fun ride through the story of a bounty hunter transporting a prisoner to her sentencing and the trials and people they meet along the snow covered road. Beautifully shot and amazing sound. Almost as good as the 70mm version I was lucky enough to see in theaters. Unfortunately the 70mm cut isn't on here, but still great none the less. Tarantino does it again

Tarantino's latest film is a strange one to watch. The second half of the film is far superior to the first, but you have to get through the endless setup of the first half to fully enjoy the rest. The benefit of watching it on DVD for the first time is you can go back and check out all the bits and pieces you missed in the initial viewing!

If anyone knows Quentin Tarantino, then you know his films are always one of a kind, and "The Hateful Eight" is no exception. Infused with outstanding cinematography and impeccable acting; this film will leave you not only on the edge of your seat but laughing the whole way through! Samuel L. Jackson has never been funnier and full of whit! A must have for Tarantino fans!

Was lucky enough to grab one of only 4 exclusive steelbooks I saw in store, love the artwork on that. Saw flick in theater and kinda liked it, second viewing I loved it. So much subtle humor and more going on than you'll notice the first time. Went from being near my least favorite Tarantino film to right near the top. Grab one if you ever see one (the steelbook that is).

You just can't go wrong with a Quentin Terantino movie. As a theatrical release this Version is awesome. The reason it got 4 stars and not 5 was because it didn't include the version that was released to limited theatres in 70 millimeters! I think they should have included the 3 hour version along with the shorter wide release version.

This all star cast has a lot to do with revenge and murder, so wait for it, but not for very long. It features blood, gore and more, but it does have a plot with a great cast of characters for a modern western. This is an adult film, not for children.If you like the actors, you will enjoy the film, but it is not for the faint at heart.

I have heard the complaints about this movie, it is still a great movie, but I do think that Kurt R. did hurt the movie. He is one of my favorite actors, I like all of his action movies plus the one he did for Quintin! I do believe he played a part that he never has before, and played it a little too over the top! The movie is still a masterpiece in my book!!

Quentin Tarantino has hit another home run with his latest picture, "The hateful Eight" and it is a shame that the studios never want to shell out money for decent features fir his movies even though he puts so much care into them. The PQ and AQ are excellent though and I especially love Ennio Morricone's fantastic score.

Samuel L. Jackson on "steroids" in this movie! He steals the show! The overall story was quite intriguing, though; with loads of "gratuitous" gun-fights. Don't recall if this was originally available in 3D, in theaters; but, if it was - wow, it would have produced some very messy people in the first "ten rows"! Loved it!

What more can I say with such a great director and great cast Hateful Eight is classic. For one it is funny as ever, but the story line is even better. Starring Kurt Douglas and Samuel L. Jackson these two put on one terrific performance. I enjoyed this movie from the opening credits to the very end credits. There is no doubt that you wilk enjoy this film.

This is a good movie, but not as good as I hoped. Worth watching.

Of course this movie has the typical violence that we all have come to know and love with Tarantino's movies, but I was pleasantly surprised in the amount of time I laughed during this film. It's funny in both overt and subtle ways. The additional bonus features were enjoyable as well. A must for any fan to add to their collection.

I enjoyed the movie but it is not a classic. I thought the plot was okay but could have been better. The ending wasn't too great. However, the beginning and part of the middle section was a treat. I believe it is worth owning if you can get it for $10 or under. I never got what I order because the carrier returned it.

This was a good movie could have been great but as usual Tarantino has to get too crazy towards the end still a good movie though. If he could ever just chill out towards the end of his movies he would have masterpieces but he always has to get a little to ridiculous and it takes you out of it. Guess thats just Tarantino.

This movie was different, but intriguing. Kept me guessing about what would happen next. Reminded me of a number of children's stories as each character was added to the stagecoach. Well done with the selection of characters and how these polar hateful characters all came together in one setting. The movie was violent, but contains a lot of humor too.

The Hateful Eight is a different take on the "Who done it?" genre of mystery movies as it is made through the eyes of renowned director Quentin Tarantino but don't let that pull you away from it. This was an absolutely great film. Superb acting, bloody violence (as usual in a Tarantino movie), and an Oscar-winning original score. This was a great buy for keeps

Quentin Tarantino and Sam Peckinpah are most likely the same person. This all star cast is great and the action is exciting...to say the least! Just about the time you have it figured out...BOOM...it hits you right between the eyes...or in the ear...or the foot...or the *%$#@! This is not a movie for the timid, but if you like Quentin or Sam, you'll love it!
