If you are a Tarantino movie fan, this one continues his tradition of action, drama, comedy, suspense. It's a great film, Kurt Russell is great in this one. It's a long movie but worth it. Not really for kids, very violent at times and strong language, like any Tarantino film.

The film was simply a marvel. The cast were excellent. The characters were well developed. The dialog was the classic Tarantino banter the fans know and love. All in all it was a good experience. If you loved reservoir dogs but are looking I king for something new and original I'd say this is what you want.

Some of Q.T.'s films tend to have a lot of boring talk. (Death Proof) But the pacing of dialogue in this is so well paced that before you know it, 2 hours have gone by. It is also extremely violent which is why you would see one of his films. I gave this movie a "10". Also the scenery looks fantastic in BD.

I'm glad that Best Buy continues to release Tarantino movies in exclusive steelbooks. They make a nice collection all together - The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, Death Proof, and both Kill Bill movies. I hope that they continue releasing these for his upcoming movies (as well as some of the older ones).

Although long, if you like Quinten's work and you enjoy a good drama/action film this is the one for you. The dialogue is thick and in particular some scenes will seem like they'll go on forever but great acting and a terrific script makes The Hateful 8 thoroughly enjoyable.

Can't go wrong with Quentin Tarantino. Loved every second of this film. This movie got me thinking of his earlier film Reservoir Dogs , I thought the movie was fantastic and well done. If you love Quentin you'll absolutely love this film. Can't wait until he comes back with another memorable masterpiece.

Amazing wide angle landscapes and acting that pulls you in. Leaves you thinking you have experienced the harsh world of that time. Very bloody in places and so real, you find yourself asking how did they make it so real

First of allI haven't read any critics yet, I went to see this movie because I love Tarantino, that was it! So, before you continue I will be honest. if you like bloody but artsy movies go, you will love it, but if you are the Disney time this is not your movie, you will not enjoy it at all! About the movie: As always it has an incredible photography and art direction; also it has an incredible cast that always amaze you and connect you to the characters. The plot was great, it has some turns that make you confused and never allows you to have a theory that you can keep for more than 20 minutes. I loved every second of it, it was funny, bloody, well directed, with an amazing photography and settings and it was full of killing and bad words!

Great Tarantino flic. It starts out a little slow but it does a good job at setting the story up. All of the characters were great and very entertaining. Things get really crazy halfway through and definitely towards the end. Maybe I'm just biased towards Tarantino because I love all of his movies.

This movie is EPIC! Coming off Django and into another western genre movie, I didn't think they could come close to awesome again but i was wrong! This movie is amazing! Acting is superb as well as the writing! Tarantino puts out some killer dialogue in his flicks and this one does not disappoint!

This movie was just flat out great. The dialog that Tarantino provides in each movie is fantastic, and certainly did not fall short in the Hateful Eight. Great action, suspense, with a twist of dark humor. I felt like I was watching a great old western flick, mixed with Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs!

As a fan of Tarantino this was a little bit of a let down from him. There are moments of brilliance from the film and moments when Tarantino is too in love with his own dialogue. Still, Tarantino down a notch or two is still better than most filmmakers at their best.

Nobody I know liked this movie. Everyone said it was too drawn out and slow. If you're familiar with Quentin's other work, you know that the film is drawn out for good reason. It kept my attention from start to finish and I wouldn't change a thing. Great film.

Excellent western. A lot of talking in the first 1/2 of movie, but, it does well in setting up the story. Not boring, but essential banter. The last 1/2 to 1/3 is a nice bloody mix, kind of a serious Sherlock Holmes. Loved this movie. Actors all were perfect, and I liked how it all came together.

i thought it was a good movie. a lot of killing and blood. some parts were disgusting and quite nasty. i didn't like the way it ended . you'll see if you watch it. it was good nonetheless.....if you're into killing, blood, guns, and a bit of disgusting scenes. lol!

Lots and lots of people did not like this because they “talk too much” and not enough action. If you know Quentin Tarantino then you know he knows what he’s doing! The dialogue on this is just amazing and cinematography is top notch!!! Definatelt a must have

I love this movie so much. Although there isn't a lot of action, the suspense builds and builds throughout the movie, making it highly entertaining. The video quality on this Blu-ray was amazing. I just wish they would have included more extra features. Please release the Roadshow version too!

Quentin Tarantino is at his absolute BEST here. A truly great ensemble piece where everyone gives their all into their performances. The score by Ennio Morricone is amazing, the characters are brilliant, the dialogue is biting and engaging. Definitely a must watch for any fan of great cinema!

Not a bad Tarantino movie but the intrigue and mystery is lost 30 minutes or so before the credits roll. The movie then seems to slow to a crawl where everything culminates and you're left tired. This is just me though, the beginning and middle act are fantastic.

Not my typical type of movie but love QT movies. Was shopping around to use my $5 rewards and decided to get this. I'm glad I did! This movie has been a conversation piece among friends and one of them went to Best Buy and bought a copy shortly after.
