As a Tarantino fan I was in no way disappointed in the quality of this film. Highly recommended, especially if you have enjoyed Django Unchained. As for the packaging, if you are into collecting steelbook editions of blu-rays, then this one does not disappoint and looks well on your shelf.

The Hateful Eight is another fine addition to Tarantino’s filmography. The story is very interesting and engaging, and the characters and dialogue are very well written. A must-watch!

The movie is good but is very R rated due to strong violence, a scene of violent content, language and some graphic nudity. Director, Quentin Tarantino does not disappoint. He is his normal quirky self. I love the Roy Orbison song that the credits rolled to.

Probably one of the more divisive films from Tarantino, but fans of classic westerns will definitely find something to love. Both an homage to the panoramic westerns of the past and the claustrophobic showdowns that Tarantino has become known for, this is an opus to behold. Trust no one.

The story is fresh and quite unique with some serious characters presented by a solid cast of actors that Tarantino knows how to use to bring out their best. This movie has that epic feel and the sound is unbelievably strong. Some may be turned off by the violence and language.

Another good output from Q.T., though this is not quite his very best. Beautifully shot western with a Quentin does Hitchcock twist added. Great dialogue and suspense are included, though not at the level presented in Pulp Fiction or the Kill Bill movies.

Sometimes, you just need to see the name Tarantino to know you will be kept on the edge of your seat. He is the cliff-hanger king. This movie starts out slow, but ends with fire. You don't know what will happen next and when it does, you can't explain it.

Some great lines in this movie. A little too much gore for my taste but it IS a Tarantino film. Walt Goggins makes this movie and Sam Jackson always delivers. I found Kurt Russell annoying and not so believable. But this one is a great one. Might be my second favorite of his films.

This was an amazing movie. Great character development. Great writing and production. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and each time I watch it I find something new. Tarantino always makes movies that when you re-watch them its like watching another movie. This is a definite must see.

If you're not a fan of Quentin Tarantino, this movie won't change your mind. But if you are, this is a real treat. The characters, dialogue, and story are fantastic. I was able to see the "35mm Roadshow" version last December (2015), and was eager to add the blu Ray to my collection.

Like all Quinten Tarantino movies it is intense. Unusual story line, with an unusual setting, with unusual characters. Actually it is more realistic than most movies with a western setting. The best part is they are all bad to the bone. They all want the same thing. Love it!

Quentin tarantino does it again in this old style western drama who done it mystery movie.Ihad to watch it several times to catch all the clues that were given during the movie.The cast is not to shabby either Samuel l. jackson,Kurt rusell both give memorable performances.

A small cast of characters... Samuel L Jackson, Kurt Russell Jennifer Jason Lee just to name a few. Classic western with Tarantino twist. Tarantino is one of my favorite Directors going back to Reservoir Dogs... If your a Quentin fan Hateful Eight is a must for your collection.

I only bought this because it was very cheap. Still a little disappointed that it didn't have the digital HD code but it was cheap. Good movie overall. Excellent cast, strong performances. A little too talkative & just not quite enough action. Balance was slightly off. There is a scene involving a story by Samuel L. Jackson's character that is completely over the top & not needed at all. Let's just say if he was to try to do this to me in real life, Sam would have lost it. This scene drags this movie down to a 3. For some this will be enough to not buy this movie. This and Inglorious B's are his weakest movies although I haven't seen Death Proof (2nd part of Grindhouse) yet.

One of the best movies ever! One never knows what to expect next, and this movie delivers all the way to the closing credits. Samuel L. Jackson is at his best! This might be the first whodunnit westerns I have ever seen, with over the top acting by everyone.

this is a more story and not as much action QT film.dont let that fool you there is still plenty blood and action.this movie is so well written it makes you want to watch it over.delivers great twists and awsome plot.the film editing and scoring are just as good as it gets!!!

I loved the movie. The plot was pretty clear and moved along well. In typical Tarantino fashion, there is a lot of dialogue. The characters were cast perfectly and the action was bloody. A very different kind of film. I recommend it to those who appreciate Tarantino's style .

The ultimate movie about "cabin fever" and the interactions of strangers trying to survive a tense situation. All of the Tarantino elements are here, great acting, dialogue and cinematography. A welcome addition for all Tarantino collectors.

Yeah, this movie is so full of classic one liners! Super fan of Tarintino movies but this movie left me with no doubt! I especially love Walter Goggins role! Tarintino & Jackson bring their usual "A" game but Goggins performance was just fantastic! A definite must own flick!

This movie gets better with every viewing. A whodunnit with some despicable but fascinating characters. A slow build that leads up to a gruesome bloody climax. Not for everyone, but I still recommend. A visual feast for the eyes with an equally impressive aural presentation.
