This version adds so much to the story. The added scenes flesh our what was already an amazing movie!

Good movie and stayed true to the book for the most part. did drag on a bit though.

I loved Jackson's version of the LOTR and have gotten to share these amazing stories and characters with my son. Overall, I could grumble at the "expansions" to the Hobbit, but this is a product review and not a film review... Suffice it to say it's a mixed bag, with some additions being great and others being a bit distracting. For the product itself, it was a gift that I ended up returning to get the fuller edition on blu-ray.

This is a must have for all Lord of the Rings fans. Obviously it is a great addition to the collection.

A little slow, but expected given it's only the first of a trilogy and it's just setting up the characters and story. Good special effects, although some of it is a bit too CG-ey.

I have enjoyed reading the books numerous times and also the movies. they create a picture I enjoy.

If you were a fan of the Lord of the Rings movies, you should check out the Hobbit movies.

It is better than the first LOTR movie which was dull in parts, this was interesting and driven through out.

The Lord of the ring is awesome see how things started in the hobit. Great can't wait for the next ones.

Great first movie for the trilogy. This Trilogy just as good as the Lord of The Rings trilogy.

Hobbit is one of our favorite DVD, along with Harry potter and the Lord of the rings.

If you love lord of the rings, you'll love The Hobbit just as much, if not more!!

very well directed, good writing and acting. The setting and the world they have created is amazing.

Good movie at a good price. Included the digital copy and ultraviolet which I like. Movie kept interest. More music than the lord of the rings trilogy. Looking forward to the conclusion.
