This was a great movie. It's action-packed and keeps you riveted from beginning to end! The only disappointment was that this extended version was only a few minutes longer than the original version.

I was asked if I needed any help finding anything and when I said no thank you, just looking the employee politely said to find her if I change my mind. Great price, great movie, great customer service.

I saw The Hobbitt: An Unexpected Journey in the theaters, but not in 3D. Upon purchasing it for my 3D LED television, I came away impressed with the new camera technology as it translates from theater to home.

Movie is okay, no where near as good LOTR but it is still better than most fantasy movies out there. But really this review is about my experience @ Best Buy and it was good as always.

I love LOTR and the hobit movies. This steelbook case is very nice and has awesome art on it. The blu ray 3D itself is also great with wonderful colors and a great job in creating it into 3D!

I found I really enjoyed this film watching it a second time. Wish they hadn't split it up into three parts by adding irrelevant subplots for entertainment value, but still holds true enough to the story.

Is part of a great follow-up series to the Lord of The Rings.... Was about to see the 3rd movie in the series, but had not seen this one yet...all of the movies in this series never disappoint.

I think I like this one better than the Ring trilogy, maybe because I only read this book once. The filming and colorization reminds me of Maxwell Parrish, most appropriate for the world of the Hobbits.

This was a great movie! So often, those made after the original are a disappointment but not so here. It was well worth waiting for and we enjoyed every minute of it! I highly recommend this to others.

Great movie, one of my top films of 2012. The picture quality is great on the extended cut. It is missing extra features that the theatrical cut already released had, but I still suggest picking it up.

This is my favorite of the three Hobbit movies, I just wished someone had told Peter Jackson - "two will be fine" - the second movie was okay and the third was beautiful, but had too much filler.

to buy this film being the extended version is great. taking a great film and extending it in this case is actually making it greater. best buy always, at least so far, delivers and has the goods.

I'm very happy with this purchase. Got it on sale and the movie was great. I had seen it in theaters but still wanted to buy it to watch again and again. Especially to watch when the next movies come out!!

I didn't get a chance to see this movie at the theatre, so when it came out on Blu-ray, I had to get it. It is a thoroughly enjoyable movie on its own, with amazing locations and cinematography. My only complaint was that it almost mirrored the Fellowship of the Ring movie, which in of itself is not a bad thing.

This movie is one of the best and it is also nice because it falls before the lord of the rings trilogy so it all falls into play of how bilbo does things throught the trilogy of the lord of the rings

This movie is awesome and action packed! I love the 3D version and the bonus features on the discs included. If you have never seen The Hobbit, then this movie should be added to your must-see list.

Thoroughly enjoyable film. If you liked Peter Jackson's vision of middle-earth in the LOTR films you'll enjoy this film. All the epic action you would expect from him is there. My only real complaint about this film is that since such a short book was divided into a trilogy the movie takes a while to get going.

If you enjoy the Lord of the rings film, this is a must see for you! Great from beginning to end, leaving you wanting more. The special features section adds quite a bit of in depth coverage as well
