As with the Lord of the Rings, this is a great movie with the extended edition filling in some areas and adding more to an already great film. Fantastic Film!

love blue ray for watching this epic saga. good to view with subtitles since much of the movie has names people and towns that can get confusing. Picture and sound is excellent.

Since I have seen - and bought - all the previous DVDs of the LOTR, I was eager to see this first installment. GREAT! the 3D is superb and I really enjoyed all the special features. Great value

THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE..WELL WORTH SEEING.About the 3 d set be careful.was told it would work in a regular blu ray player and this is not so.I wish they had put he steelbook in regular blu ray also..

needed this movie on blue ray to finish collection. have always liked any of these installments, although I likes this one better than the others. long movie but a great movie.

So glad Peter Jackson signed on to make these films. He brings the story to life with this amazing cinematography and great cast (even if I miss LOTR's). I can't wait to see how the next two will look!

This was on the Christmas list of our youngest and she is very happy with it as she is an avid fan of all things hobit. It has gotten multiple views already and remains on the top of the watch list

As a Lord of the Rings fan, I loved this film. I don't think anyone could have done a better job bringing these characters to life than Peter Jackson. This is the first of three films to cover the book. I know that this film enhanced my appreciation of the book, and I am sure the next two films will as well.

It was a good buy so I did it again, bought another one as gift for a friend who is also a Hobbit fan. Good plot and visually stunning so I would totally recommend it to friends and family members.

Even though this wasn't on sale, it was a great product! Best buy has wonderful deals on all types of DVD's. We just bought a blue ray player that we cant wait to use with all of our future purchases.

Enjoy this video. It did a good job adding onto the Hobbit characters from Lord Of The Rings. I think they edited out to many scenes. It made the movie lack continuity or flow. Still a very entertaining and good movie to watch. I look forward to another and would purchase it when it comes out.

I thought the cast for this movie was excellent. It really brought to life the pages of the book and once again Peter Jackson works his magic to transport us into the world of Middle Earth.

We have watched this movie in the theater and on DVD. We recently purchased a blu-ray player so we bought the blu-ray version as well and were amazed at how good it looks. Such a great movie.

I come from watching all the lord of the rings and so I couldn't wait to see the hobbit movies. This one is great! Not many dull moments at all. Great picture and great sound!!

I love this purchase, the only thing I don't quite like is that the case isn't like the trilogy's nice extended cases. Not a huge fan of the inset picture on the front. Product is great though.

A must have for Tolkien fans. So much cooler than the first film. Though they were good this movie has em smoked. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. But I'm very happy to be proven wrong.

This is my favorite of the trilogy, even after seeing the Five Armies. The story was more developed, and Martin Freeman was more present. He's barely in the Battle of the Five Armies.

If you are a fan of LOR, you will love this movie too. The settings, the color, the photography, the story lines, the spical effects. You can cheer, laugh and sigh through out the movie.

Was able to get The Hobbit trilogy in 3D for as much you would pay for one at regular retail, so was a very good deal. Too bad the extended editions weren't on sale

love the added scenes! Peter Jackson and team always do such a wonderful job adding the bonus scenes in like they have always been a part of the movie, not just a special feature!
