I really love the films and this one is no different. To just sit and watch (and not pick apart every little thing like some do), it was entertaining.

Great underrated film that is perfect for any film collector. Sad that Best Buy can't label all of their Steelbooks online but this one is a must own.

This is a most have if you like middle-earth and wizard sword fantasy. the director transport you into a world and you get soaked in it.

I got the 3D movie for my step father for Christmas and the family watched it that night everyone loved the 3D the places looked like if you were there the kids were all smiling and trying to grab the 3D things flying at them it was awesome

This movie itself was very good and the 3D is very well done. This is a full packaged set so if you are a fan of these movies it is a must have.

Really enjoyed the story- strange that it takes them 3 movies for one book, but I guess it will be the most close to the book than the other 3 films and books

I have been a fan of the Hobbit series of books since I was a kid. The movies have had great visual effects and appear to follow the story line very well.

The outstanding cinematography that brought middle earth to life in the Lord of the Rings trilogy continues in this Epic - A fun and exciting adventure.

The first in an Epic three part movie. The Hobbit is a true classic with great story telling and visuals. A must see movie!

Excellent movie, but an Extended Edition is available. Collectors and fans like myself will get them both, but if you want the better edition, best to get the Extended Edition at Best Buy...

Much of the movie occurs outside the book, but clearly filled in points and discussions which had to have occurred in the original for it to progress

The movie has brilliant graphics. Each character is represented wonderfully. Of course the story itself is monumental. Great value on a great movie.

I've already own the dvd but when I saw that the extended version was on sale AND on blu-ray I had to have it! Peter Jackson did an incredible job with The Hobbit trilogy. The movie looks awesome!

We got a great price on the movie. I Love the fact that it has the digital copy so that we can take it with us any where without having to take the dvd.

Loved the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and this prequel more than lived up to that level. Great effects, great story, nice mix of drama, action and humor.

I enjoyed the movie and looked forward to the extended addition similar to the additions with LOTR. Good helpful additions, but not as much as with LOTR.

This movie runs longer. It's visually stunning, and extra movie sequences tie into the story giving more details on why things happen. Great movie.

I thought this would be a great movie to watch with my Grandson. I definitely was. Kept us entertained. A great movie to watch for both young and old.

Great movie..keeps you suspended epecially in the end!! If you love Lord of the Ring..you will love this! Going to watch it again this evening with family!!
