This particular movie had a seemingly slow start. As the movie moved towards the storyline it quickly gained momentum & had me glued to the screen!

Any Lord of the Rings fan or Tolkien fan will enjoy this continuing sage of a Hobbit. Action, Adventure and humor wrapped up into this fine movie.

I'm a big fan of the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Enjoyed this interpretation quite a bit. Long movie, but I enjoyed it. I look forward to the sequels.

Dunno what else to say, I just love the series. I never got to watch it at the movie theater, but my big screen and surround sound made up for it.

I never saw this in theater, but have a good one at home that's (almost) better than paying to go sit next to strangers. This movie had a lot of non fighting parts. Made me want to go watch the trilogy that got me here in the 1st place

For Lord of the Rings fans, The Hobbit brings us back to the story of Bilbo Baggins. The cinema quality is stunning and the story does not disappoint.

The Hobbit is a fine movie to see and play when friends come over. Good to have in our library of 3-D DVDs. Great for adults and kids over 4. Ed

Excellent movie! With dwarves, wizards, elves, trolls, orcs, and other fantastic characters the journey springs to life. Peter Jackson has done it again.

This part of the saga jumped straight into the action & stayed that way through out!Peter Jackson & company really brought Mr.Tolkien's story to life in a big way.They made you believe that middle earth is really a real place & time.

This installment of the series is great with the special effects and the actors make this a hit with a new one to come soon it's is a great movie

I saw this movie at the theater and wanted to own it so I could watch it again. The price was great and I'm glad I was able to make the purchase.

Great movie, nice packaging, something I enjoy whenever a movie comes out. Wish I would have known about the 3D steelbook before purchasing this one.

Blu ray movies, for the most part, are great looking, and this is up to those standards. The visual effects are amazing and the sound is off the charts.

The movie pick up where Lords of the Rings let off or should I say preludes. This movie was well done and has great views and story line. the only issue I have is that they broke the book up into 3 movies and now I can't wait till the next two.

Of course because of Lord Of the Rings. It was a must purchase. It didn't let me down on action, and suspense. The graphics are awesome!

I wasn't interested in watching any of the Lord of the Rings movies until now. I will b watching all the continuation of this movies. I enjoyed it
