I was really looking forward to seeing this after being a big fan of LOTR movies. It turned out to be really slow and drawn out. It was still a great movie, but the story could have been told in 1 movie instead of extending it to another.

There's not much to say - Best Buy doesn't get credit for the movie itself, but it's in stock and in new condition. I have no complaints.

The movie was full of adventure and fantasy. It held true to Tolken's theme for the movie. I love the fact many of the actors reprised their roles.

No problem with DVD quality. Did not realize The Hobbit was part of Lord of The Rings story. Enjoyed the movie.

I have all the Lord of the Rings and the first two Hobbits extended versions. If you like the series, then go for the extended versions.

Such a great movie! Only knock would be if you are an avid reader and have read the book. Like most movies, it doesn't follow the book exactly.

This is a great movie to watch with the family. If you enjoyed the Lord of the Rings series you will love the Hobbit. Can't wait for the next one.

I bought this on sale during the Holidays to watch on my new 4K TV. It upscales to 4K beautifully! The visuals are stunning.

I got a great deal at Best Buy during a sale near Christmas. It's probably the best place to buy a bluray in terms of quality and price.

Great movie. Wish they would just shot the whole movie at once and then release a 5 hour long dvd. This waiting for a 2 part movie is silly

With or without 3D this is another great film from New Zealand. Looking forward to the release of the extended 3D version of Desolation.

C'mon...it's The Hobbit starring Martin Freeman and directed by Peter Jackson! It's awesome....just buy it and watch it.

The Hobbit seemed like more of the same kind of scenes (shire, fellowship, orcs, mountain) as the Lord of the rings trilogy. Not much new other than characters (who were underdeveloped). Looking forward to the dragon in the next one.

A truly fantastic journey into Middle Earth. Even though it doesn't follow the book exactly, Jackson's vision of the Hobbit is awesome.
