Loved it. Got it for my daughters B-day and enjoyed every bit of it for movie night! Feels like you are right in there with them.

Love the final fight, lot of action and amazing picture. Who ever thought how to put that all together put lots of time in to it.

Another gift for son's family! We used to watch this family night favorite and have the Trilogy that followed...

I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan. I was a little disappointed in this movie. I have seen the trailers for the next one, Looks a little better. But to be Fair, Not thing compares to the original 3 Lord of the Rings..

love this movie. can not wait til the last in the series comes out in extended view there are so much worth the extra dollars

My family and I loved the Lord of the Rings and now love the Hobbit. We have watched it many times and will watch it many more times.

Extended edition of an already great movie. Got it on sale otherwise if you own the non extended it is not worth it

I have collection of the LoR. This would complete my collection until they come up with another one

Amazing in 3D. Definitely a fantastic movie, to say the least. Bilbo was incredible and the dwarves...wow! Can't wait for part 2!

really enjoyed watching this movie with child. the hobbit series is great to get a child interested in reading the books.

Action packed, not a boring moment in the movie. For how long these movies are they definitely can keep you interested in them.

This is a very enjoyable, but very bloated movie. A lot of unneeded story, but still wonderful to be in Middle Earth again.

I bought this as a Xmas gift for a relative. $9.99 was a great price for a Blu/DVD combo. Can't wait to see Desolation of Smaug.

Enjoyed this as much as the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Love the new characters. Great special effects. Can't wait for the next one.

Great movie. Really pops in 3D. Only drawback is that this is part 1 of a 3 part movie and I have to wait for the other 2 parts.

I was amazed with the fx's. the 3d depth was incredible. The story plot is like always what I expected, nothing short of fantastic.

great filming and backdrops even though they are mythical. It has more comedy in it than previous versions. It also is not so dark.
